Commission info! Sharing is appreciated 🫂 Swipe for examples and further details :) - Finally opening my commissions again and this time I'm doing it a bit differently! I've finally made a T&C and instead of DMing me if you're interested, you'll now fill out a form (both in my carrd-link in my bio)! Swipe through the slides if you'd like to see my prices as we'll as how to commission me! In my T&C there's also a section about commercial commissions 👍 - - - - 🏷️ #commissionopen #commissionsopen #commissioninfo #commissions #commission #commissionsheet #commissionartist #commissionart #digitalart #digitalartist #digitalillustration #procreate #myart #artistsoninstagram #instaart #instaartwork #character #characterconcept #characterillustration #illustration #illust #art #artistsoninstagram by @bellebubben
24 🎉 - Another year another birthday mermaid! Happy 24th to me 🥳 I whipped this up quite quickly yesterday. This art slump has been hitting hard, but I can’t just put an unceremonious end to an (at this point) 8 year old tradition, can I? And wouldn’t you know, this would be the year I stepped away from the good ol’ floating in void trope? 🤔🙂‍↕️ Instead I returned to mermaid in bathroom! (it’s a classic, what can I say) - ~7h - - - - 🏷️ #illustration #procreate #mermay #characterillustration #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Been feeling a bit uninspired lately! So I’ve doing some quicker not-quite-sketches every once in a while instead, but haven’t been posting them. I made the sketch for this yesterday right before bed, to come up with an idea for today’s ceramics course. I made the sculpt. I dislike the sculpt. I will not show you :) But you may have a quick piece of what I wanted it to look like instead 🙂‍↕️ 1h 20min #procreate by @bellebubben
Ophie - Guys I’m sorry I keep coming back to this piece and reworking it. Crossing my fingers it’s finished for good this time 🫣 this is also a test to see if portrait ratio posts do better.... I have an inkling... The full thing is up on my Artstation if you’d like to take a look! - This illustration features Ophelia, a character I drew for the first time back in 2020. She came to fruition when I used to have a fruit earrings series going on my Instagram, Ophelia being pomegranate. Since then she’s become a puppet for death/bad omen in my (very diffused) world. I’d love to give her a monster form at some point, but that’s for future me to tackle 😇 - - - - 🏷️ #illustration #procreate #originalcharacter #characterillustration #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Commission! - Remember that commission piece I did a couple years back with two characters in a candle-lit room? @kelseyinreallife returns with yet another BANGER of a commission inquiry! Featuring one of the characters again with great inspiration sources to pull from. This is what happens when two people with a vision unite 🙂‍↕️ lol - Some of you might recognise the pose, it’s from a Doja Cat, Tia Tamera performance. Great pose, even greater lighting. Had a blast painting it all. Thank you again Kelsey for commissioning me! 🫶🫶 - - - - 🏷️ #illustration #procreate #artcommission #characterillustration #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Lure! (Redraw) - This is a redraw of an illustration I did back in Dec 2023! And I hope it’s clear just by looking at it but MAN did I have an ABSOLUTE BLAST working on this one! I also won. Because I cut down 20h working time compared to the old one 😎 get absolutely OWNED, 21 y/o me - I also used more than my stripey default brush in this one... Do you like it? 😇 - - - - 🏷️ #illustration #procreate #illust #characterillustration #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Flash! - Everybody say thank you for my friends hyping me on discord otherwise I prob wouldn’t have posted this 😌 I’ve been looking at it for too long! - In less fun news this gal is being laid off from her retail job at the start of February! Though that means I’ll have more time than ever before for GRINDING art best believe I’ll get back to a semi-regular posting schedule 💪💪 this also means I’ll have a bunch of time for comms so if you’ve been interested, do send me an inquiry in my commission form 🫶🫶 - - - - 🏷️ #illustration #procreate #illust #characterillustration #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Hannibal commission - FINNALLY finished this Hannibal commission for my friend @aligharial.art !! This is the longest I’ve ever gone before finishing a commission, so a big SORRY and a big THANK YOU to @aligharial.art (Han) for having the patience of a saint to wait through all my other projects I’ve had this year 💗💗 now I get to rewatch the series as a reward 😌 - This has actually been an even longer time coming than even just this year. Han is a big fan of the series and had apparently had the idea to commission a Hannibal piece from me for a little while. I had seen a bunch of clips and edits of the series on TikTok and we ended up binging the entire series right before the Concept art & illustration course ended in Hjo, back in 2024. Huge brain on Han’s part cause after watching I obviously could not say no to this project. Thank you for introducing me to the series and for trusting me with these characters 😈 - - - - 🏷️ #hannibal #illustration #procreate #characterillustration #artcommission by @bellebubben
Katabasis (2/2) - And here’s the second scene I did for @illumicrate ’s Katabasis release! Love how this one turned out in the physical book, the foiling is gorgeous! I included a video of me showing it off, last slide 😘💗 by @bellebubben
Katabasis (1/2) - Earlier this year I had the opportunity to create two endpapers for @illumicrate ’s exclusive edition run of R.F. Kuang’s novel Katabasis. This is one of them! Will be sharing the second one soon 🫡 I know the book has been out for a little while by now, but NOW you get the opportunity to ”ooooh” and ”aaaah” at the illustrations in full detail!! Although parts of this project were definitely challenging, it was an amazing experience and something I’d absolutely love to get the opportunity to do again. Thanks to @illumicrate and more specifically @herpaperworld for giving me a chance to push myself beyond my limits, because it’s in these types of projects where I truly do my best work. - During this project there’s one piece of wisdom I learned that I’d like to impart to the rest of you creatives: don’t export a CMYK canvas as PSD from Procreate or you’ll pay the consequences. Export flat or just do the work in Photoshop to begin with ✊😔 a loss for us Procreate girlies. Can’t win them all - - - - 🏷️ #illumicrate #freelanceartist #katabasis by @bellebubben
Nosferatu!!!!!!!!! - I watched Nosferatu like the week after it released here in Sweden and WHAT A MOVIE!!!!!! If you haven’t seen it yet, go!! Incredible film. Incredibly tense. It made my stomach hurt watching it. I should watch it again. But I’m sick currently so that will have to wait 😔😔 - Saw lanajay_art draw this still with a friend a little while ago and, of course, I had to copy them immediately. I’ve waited with posting cause I’ve been waiting on some friends of mine to draw this still as well.. might post a collab reel with some of them 🫣 fun to see differences in styles! - This took ~7h - - - 🏷️ #nosferatu #nosferatuart #fanart #illustration #procreate #painting #artcommunity #artistsoninsta #artistsonig #procreatepainting #art #portraitart #digitalpainting by @bellebubben
Commission! - Here’s one of those commissions I mentioned in my previous post. I once again want to thank this commissioner for being so patient with me cause this took me literally all summer to complete 😅 worked a bit more than I accounted for at my day job.... - Job and commissions aside I got accepted into a pattern construction/design course! If you saw some of my stories last year of me sewing my own pants: yes, I’ve gotten sewing brain worms. But there has been some absolute tomfoolery going on. Because of work I got like 3 weeks behind on course work and when I finally got a chance to actually try doing an assignment I realised my course book was defective..... Literally just missing the most integral to obligatory course work pages of the book. So now I’m even more behind. Loving life 🤩 I’m getting a new copy tomorrow so cross your fingers nothing goes wrong this time around 🥳🥳 - This took ~26h 30min - - - 🏷️ #commission #illustration #illust #characterillustration #characterdesign #characterart by @bellebubben
