In January, Gerik surprised me with getting us a photographer 🤗 He let me pick out who took them and where it was then he handled the rest. He knew that since this would be a long year of deployments and long distance that I would want pictures to hold on to. So he went out of his way to think of this, fly me to washington state, and drive 3 hours to get these pictures. That’s the kind of person Gerik Ford is. Thoughtful, respectful, kind, and loving. Our relationship comes with its obstacles, with our lives being so busy and so far apart, but we never fail to remind each other what we mean to one another.
