🌴☀️ Punta Cana is calling… but this time, I’m cheering from home! 💕

One of the things I never imagined when I started my little BELLAME business was that I would actually earn a trip to Punta Cana! 🏝️. And guess what? I DID IT!! 🎉

Sometimes life has a way of reminding us that just because we can do something doesn’t always mean it’s the right time. So, I made the decision to sit this one out.

I do have a little FOMO watching all my BELLAME peeps soaking up the sunshine and making memories right now? ABSOLUTELY!! 😂🌴💕 I miss those ladies!

I almost skipped this one. 😬💋

I’m usually NOT a lip stain girl because… DRY. 😂 And at 55, the last thing I need is something making my lips look or feel even drier.

Nine minutes. 💄✨

That’s it.

Nine minutes to put on a little makeup, fix my hair, and somehow feel a little more like ME before I take on the day.

And I’ve realized something as I’ve gotten older…

Doing something for yourself isn’t always about changing how you look.

Sometimes it’s just the little reminder that says:
“Hey girl… you’re still in there.” ❤️

At 55, I’m not trying to look 25.
I’m not chasing perfect.
And I’m definitely not spending an hour getting ready. 😂

I just want to feel good in my skin, have a little confidence, and walk out the door feeling like myself.

So here’s your reminder today:
Take the nine minutes.
Put on the lipstick.
Drink the coffee while it’s still hot.
Do the thing that makes YOU feel a little more like you.

Sometimes we think we know our story… until something happens that makes us see it in a completely different way. 🤍

There’s something incredibly freeing about finally realizing that some of the things you’ve questioned about yourself for years weren’t something you needed to fix.

Sometimes you just needed answers.
Sometimes you needed understanding.
And sometimes you needed a little more grace for yourself.

Funny how clarity can bring a whole new kind of confidence. ✨

Can we talk about the “lizard skin” stage of midlife for a minute? 🦎

I looked down at my legs one day and thought…When did THIS happen?
No matter how much lotion I used, my skin still looked dry, rough, and almost snake-like.

I kept blaming the weather. I blamed aging. I blamed everything except what my skin was actually asking for.

Once I started focusing on nourishing my skin instead of just covering up the dryness, everything began to change.

Now my skin feels softer, looks healthier, and I don’t automatically reach for pants because I’m embarrassed by my legs.

Can we normalize talking about this? Please tell me I’m not the only one who has looked down and wondered where that dry, crepey skin came from. 💛 by @bellen1
