(this video is much longer than I thought it would be, but I promise it’s worth it)
•There’s still a stigma when talking about mental health, especially amongst youths. Reaching out and saying you need help isn’t easy but I’m glad I did it. I went from being a happy 11 year old, to a silently struggling 12 year old, to changing my surroundings for my mental health, found a happier environment but remained hidden and drowning within myself, to reaching my breaking point at 13, to finally being the happiest and loving myself at 14.
•Reaching out for help was the scariest thing I’ve done; I was scared of being a “failure,” of letting my loved ones down. But after a year of therapy I realized, I’ve never actually “failed” at anything, I simply found ways that didn’t work at that time but thank goodness there’s more than one way to accomplish goals. I’ve learned to see the good in every moment of my life, I’ve learned to love myself and all my “flaws,” I’ve learned that life is worth living to its fullest. It’s okay to not be okay but your story isn’t over. You can always turn the page and begin writing a new chapter. Find the good in every day, you deserve to see it. 🌈

Championship Sunday Dinger!

With the first bracket game tied, I knocked a GRAND SLAM to secure the win! I’m so blessed to have this incredible team walking this path with me.
Yesterday was a rough day at the plate for me, my timing was off and I wasn’t making good contact. I kept my head up and made the adjustments today and knocked this bomb and two doubles today.
But man, this team is something. We battled hard and went undefeated in bracket taking home the ‘ship!

This was a season a growth.
Yes, I grew physically by training hard both on and off the field. But what I’m most proud of is my growth mentally. Focusing on my mental health is something I work on every single day, some days are easy and some are a struggle. I’ve learned that I am not the result of the game; I am ME and I am always enough every day. This game is something I love to do but it is not all I am.
Im forever grateful for this team. Their love and support, through successes and failures, something I won’t ever take for granted. Surrounding myself with these incredible teammates and coaches have allowed me to play free regardless of the competition.

This was a season of highs for me. I reach a season high hits, RBI’s, triples, and caught stealing.

While I’m sad this season is over, I’m excited to see what the season will bring.

Off season fine tuning 👌🏻

Working on fine tuning the little things with my swing at my lessons today. It’s wild to think my coach and I will be on opposing sides on the field come high school season.

I’m so proud of my little sister and her team. These little 10U ballers made it into the Alliance Nationals Elite 8.

It’s not often I’m cheering from the stands at a softball game but I’m honored to have a front row seat to watch my sister crush her goals. I also got to be the bullpen catcher for this squad, being a bucket sister was so much fun.
