Hopping my way right into a #Garmin 5K Badge for this weekend! Back to back hops with similar outcomes and I'm a satisfied phrawgo.

Finally made it to the Thunder Mountain Ridgeline after two previous attempts in the snow. As I approached the summit, vertigo was kicking in and my legs were getting shakey, so I decided to foregoe the true summit due to some sketchy drop offs near the trail. I always try to stay concious of how my body is feeling when I'm at elevation, as it only takes one goofy move to injure yourself or slide off the trail. taken in Thunder Mountain Trailhead by @bellophrawg

Keeping at it with my cardio and took a hop around Lake Natoma this past Sunday. Had my best mile average with sub-10min miles! Getting older sucks, but it doesn't mean we have to compromise our fitness goals. Keep striving! #Running #Fitness #Cardio #Workout #motivation taken in Lake Natoma by @bellophrawg

Went out for a small hop last night. I always love sunset runs, as long as I'm not in the mountains (that's big kitty 'mtn lion' time)

Happy to earn another Garmin badge!

What a DAY! My first adventure into Desolation Wilderness this season was so much fun! Ran into a couple guys doing the Desolate Peaks marathon and peak bagging just about ever summit in the basin. Joined them up Cracked Crag and then took off back down towards Horsetail Falls. Might have to look into this event next year as it sounds exhillerating! Not sure I could complete the entire traverse, but it would be fun trying!

Hoppy #WorldFrogDay Celebrate by raising awareness for these essential, eco-friendly amphibians, as nearly 40% of species are threatened by habitat loss and climate change. Frogs are vital bioindicators of environmental health, eating pests and protecting ecosystems. Let's pledge to protect them
