Been a hot minute but we are back at @musicroom_melbourne this Friday with a bunch of our friends.

Last year was a hard one to put into words. Thats why I settled for a plain and simple, ‘thank you ❤️‍🔥’.

I feel like it’s time to elaborate on that.

I’m incredibly lucky that pursuing my creativity has taken me to places and spaces where I get to work, play, and most importantly learn alongside those with much greater talent than I. I am a fan first and foremost. This journey is still relatively premature, and so there’s always been a level of imposter syndrome and anxiety. Sometimes underlying, sometimes very hard to ignore.

Here’s proof that I’ve always been mildly confused. Baby Bells had questions… and I still do.

I’ve often opted to express myself in unusual ways, in hopes of trying to make sense of something that probably isn’t really meant to be understood, and with hopes to connect. Not always landing, though through music I’ve always found comfort.

It’s a blessing to say that my first gigs were on CDJ 3000s & V10s, even though I had no idea what I was doing and that was terrifying. Over time, I’ve realised that nothing is ever perfect or certain, to just show up, adapt, and keep moving. I’m beginning to see that sensitivity is a beautiful thing.

It’s been 2 years now and through it all I’ve followed the same thing: the music, my instincts, and belief that even in uncertainty there’s possibility.

I’ll keep creating, experimenting, and expressing, not because I have it all figured out, but because I don’t.

So thanks for reading this, thanks for listening, believing and thanks for coming on the journey with me. Home is where the cage is and also lowkey where most of my frontal lobe developed.
