L’shana Tova!! what a freakin way to ring in the new year. Behind me says “love thy neighbor as you love yourself” the golden rule!! and that’s exactly what burning man is to me… just a bunch of friends I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet- sharing and dancing and giving it their all!… I try my best to carry that feeling into the default world! Feeling so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Camp UBU for lyfe!! May it only go up from here! 🍎🍯

Lil story time behind this outfit and the magic of the Burn! If you know me, you know I love to play with my aesthetic! I had a vision of painting the town red… but with only a day to prepare my outfits and a red wig/ crop top to work with, I kinda gave up on the idea. So I’m walking back to camp mid week and happen to stumble across a “playa thrift store”… I immediately spot these purrrrfect red parachute pants! Tadaaaa- outfit complete I thought!! Nope! later that night, escaping the rain, I cuddle puddled in Syd n Gabe’s airstream…she looked incredible per ush so I complimented her outfit- she says “hold that thought” and whips out about 10 red berets from a bag and gifts one to everyone like freakin Oprah! bc why not?? What are the freakin odds?? So thank you to my red baret queen @sydborden for gifting me the cherry on top and tying my whole fit together! After years of styling and dressing my friends up, it felt like a lil wink from the universe how synchronistically it came to be! There’s a quote I saw recently that really resonated with me… “if your peace depends on everything going right, it’s not peace, it’s control. Learning to be steady in the chaos is the real work”.

Cancer came into my life like a wrecking ball. abruptly and without warning it changed the way I view myself and the world around me. rewiring everything I thought I knew down to its core, only to reveal what truly matters. And that’s nothing. Nothing except the time we have on this earth and what we choose to do with it. For that, it’s a weird strange gift. like taking the red pill. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the person I was before all of this. I grieve her. I envy her freedom and laugh at the silly things I thought mattered before my health was in question. But I am incredibly strong and hopeful and throughout this living nightmare that’s become my reality I’ve still managed to cultivate countless beautiful memories with the people I love. And I think that’s the balance of it all. if I can overcome this year and still have a smile on my face than there’s nothing you can take away from me. I can overcome anything. Maybe that’s what this year gave me- an unwavering belief in myself and my resilience that only something of this magnitude can forge. ❤️

Pls. Go to the doctors. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. I love you.

Some of my favorite moments from 2022❤️

Hi friends! Haven’t really posted in a few years so I thought I’d make a lil memory smorgasbord to remind y’all I’m ALLLLIIVVVVEEE! I had intended on posting this as a cute “end of the year” recap, and of course life (and social media anxiety) got in the way hah!

I felt so filled with gratitude and nostalgia while making this reel…it was the dose of cathartic medicine I needed in a hard moment. A reminder of how incredible existing can be! Hell, It was challenging to narrow the clips down, which was a wonderful problem to face. And yet, life is so much more than the moments we document or share… time will creep on past you if you don’t find enjoyment or solace in the little moments. And that’s that 2022 was for me. A lot of little moments I didn’t feel called to record…the peaceful ones, the sad ones, the funny ones, the yummy ones! Those moments where I was fully present, absorbed in time, nothing else mattered. Life is just as equally those moments, and they will live rent free in my heart forever! 2022 taught me to slow down and marinate… because before you know it- you blink and they’re gone.
