We are incredibly excited to share that Ananth Subramaniam’s Pray to The Thunder will be part of the 52th session of La Résidence of the Festival de Cannes. From October 1st 2026 to February 16th, 202, he will reside in Paris where the project will benefit from a residency and a collective program of meeting with film professionals. 🇫🇷 taken in Cannes, France by @belz_23

After 3 days of hard work, we have successfully wrapped the principal photography for Tide! Thank you to @cfam.org.my , @finasmalaysia , @hollyland_malaysia, @elainemakeupstylingteam , and our group of industry professionals that helped make this film come to life. Though this journey was not a long one, we really tried our best to push against every challenge, every tide as a tightly-knitted team. Thank you to everyone for being a part of this film. 一笔扶持，一圈涟漪‼️ 《CFAM 短片扶持计划》今天于马来西亚国家电影发展局（FINAS）Pawagam Mini P. Ramlee 举行颁奖典礼，并正式公布最终两项获选企划。本届计划由马来西亚华人影视协会（CFAM）主办、 @marvelousculturefilm 联办，旨在鼓励本地电影创作者发展兼具本土文化视角与国际潜力的原创故事，并通过制作资金与产业资源，扶持具创意与个人风格的新生代导演。 本届《CFAM 短片扶持计划》以“涟漪（Ripples）”为主题，围绕社会变化与生命流动状态展开，鼓励创作者从个人经验、社会观察与时代感受出发，创作具有全球共鸣的马来西亚故事。经过评选后，最终从10强入围团队中选出两项获奖企划，分别为刘嘉欣（Laura Low） @lilrappo1102 执导的《Sea Swallow Me》，以及林汉龙 @l.hanl 执导的《夜潮与羽毛》。 《Sea Swallow Me》由林亦哲 @edwardlim1491 担任制作人，故事讲述一名年轻的马来西亚印度裔少年，遇一位充满魅力的马来街头赛车手，并逐渐卷入一个由速度与欲望交织而成的世界。当他以为自己终于初尝自由与被爱的感觉时，一切却开始失控。 《夜潮与羽毛》则由朱文彪 @belz_23 担任制作人，故事围绕一夜暴风雨，11岁男孩第一次面对身体的秘密，却发现天亮之后，有些事情比黑夜更难面对。 本届颁奖典礼由通讯部副部长YB张念群 @teonieching ，以及 @finasmalaysia 首席执行员 Dato’ Azmir Saifuddin 共同见证。两组获奖团队将获得短片制作奖金及后期制作配套，整体资源总值约 RM70,000，以协助作品后续制作与海外发展。 两组获奖企划各获得 RM30,000 制作现金资助，以及由 @icebergpostkl 赞助、价值 RM20,000 的后期制作配套支持。除此之外，获奖团队亦将获得由 @elainemakeupstylingteam 提供、总值 RM10,000 的服装造型与化妆配套、 @hollyland_malaysia 赞助价值 RM5,000 的无线通话系统、 @publish_king_ 提供价值 RM5,000 的加密科技影音保护 USB 配套，以及由 @cathayplayglobal 提供、价值 RM5,000 的海外参展旅费资助申请机会。 本计划由 @silmetropolehk 担任主要赞助，Iceberg Post 与 Elaine Make-Up & Styling Team 为联合赞助单位， @sunstrongentertainment 与 @megafdmy 为协力赞助单位， @multimedia_entertainment 为合作单位。此外，计划亦获得通讯部及马来西亚国家电影发展局（FINAS）官方支持，Hollyland、Publish King 与 CathayPlay 为官方合作伙伴，媒体伙伴则包括 @8tvmalaysia 与 @wubenfilmmagazine 。 《CFAM 短片扶持计划》希望未来继续支持更多大胆且具原创性的马来西亚创作声音，并协助本地电影人迈向更广阔的国际舞台。 taken in Finas Hulu Kelang by @belz_23
