While making this I realised that despite loving to read horror and listen to heavy music, Iโ€™m a total softie and child at heart lmao. Also itโ€™s really hard for me to define my taste in music with just 5 albums and 5 songs! P.S. Watch me change my mind on half of these within the week, Iโ€™m indecisive af ๐Ÿ˜‚ Do we have anything in common? ๐Ÿ–ค by @belzebubzbookz
๐ฌ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ž & ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐š๐ญ๐ž Long time no see! Well at least not when it comes to me postingโ€ฆ I tend to float around like a ghost on my story and in my dms still though. Iโ€™m hoping to get back to posting more regularly soon (which I always say and never do lol) but I call myself an infrequently posting book goblin for a reason. The creative juices have not been flowing and itโ€™s been a struggle, Iโ€™ve seen so many good ideas and even been tagged in some posts but the motivation has been seriously lacking. If youโ€™ve got any tips on getting back into posting after 3 months of exhaustion and creative block, let me know please! ๐Ÿ˜… Itโ€™s been a hell of a few months but itโ€™s not been all bad, just very busy and tiring. My grandma was diagnosed with cancer but thankfully itโ€™s only in early stages. Sheโ€™s had one surgery done but at her most recent appointment theyโ€™ve said thereโ€™s still some more they didnโ€™t get and that theyโ€™d like to do a second surgery, but hey at least itโ€™s not chemotherapy! On a more positive note though, I got a job a bookstore which has been absolutely awesome and I recently turned 23 (and @books_grow_in_my_heart made me the cutest birthday card which now lives on my shelf)! Hopefully the rest of the year is calmer or at least a happier kind of chaotic, wish me luck! ๐Ÿคช And if youโ€™ve managed to read this far then much love and thank you for sticking around even when I disappear off the face of the earth for a couple months. You guys are the best! I hope you all have an amazing holiday season leading into the new year cause each and every one of you deserves it! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป by @belzebubzbookz

Humanityโ€™s last hope lies in Sphaera, a distant world rumoured to be its salvation. But mere weeks after landing, the ARC crew goes silent, leaving behind only questions. With time slipping away, a final mission is launched. The Echo crew is sent to finish what ARC could not: assess the planetโ€™s viability and report back before itโ€™s too late. But something is waiting for them when they make landfall, something twisted, ravenous and relentless. Whatever befell the ARC still lingers, and itโ€™s hungry for more. Ava, a driven scientist aboard the Echo, is determined to uncover the truth. But as tensions rise and a lethal virus spreads, sheโ€™s forced to navigate impossible choicesโ€”between duty and survival, between grief and a growing undeniable pull toward a hardened soldierโ€”while struggling to move on from what she left behind. โœง Thoughts โœง Omg what a book! As someone who loves a good zombie story and also has a love for medical-related things (and a bit of spicy romance), this book was absolutely amazing! The only thing was that I wish there was more, it felt like this was just the beginning of something even though Iโ€™m pretty sure itโ€™s a standalone. Reading this gave me a bit of hope that there are more than likely people out there just like these characters that will fight to improve not just their own lives but everyone elseโ€™s until they can fight no longer, which felt refreshing in the state of the world weโ€™re currently in where people donโ€™t really help each other or think outside of themselves and their circle of friends and family. Plus, thereโ€™s nothing like finding love when the worldโ€™s ending! ๐Ÿ˜‚ (Please ignore my chipped af nail and the quality of the photos, I really wanted to post about this book before I forget all the details but I havenโ€™t had the time or energy to take nicer photos lmao) by @belzebubzbookz

Hereโ€™s a stack of queer books I own to celebrate! All except two of these are still on my tbr cause I have a tendency to buy books faster than I can read them, but also if you have any suggestions on more queer books for me to read then please please please comment them below!! Iโ€™ve really wanted to put together a post for pride month but I havenโ€™t gotten around to it yet sooooโ€ฆ happy pride month everyone! My mental and physical health have been kinda all over the place so I havenโ€™t really had the spare energy to post in the last month but Iโ€™m still lurking in the shadows, liking posts and responding to messages when Iโ€™m up for it. I havenโ€™t managed to do any reading in the last three weeks because life decided to get super chaotic as it does, so any spare time Iโ€™ve had has been dedicated to rotting away in bed, binging comfort shows on repeat and occasionally going for a walk. Speaking of walks, swipe to the end to see the kangaroos I saw on one of my walks! ๐Ÿฆ˜ A big thank you to everyone whoโ€™s stuck around while Iโ€™ve been mostly inactive in the last month and an especially big thank you to the people whoโ€™ve reached out to check on me. I was tagged by the lovely @bookishwithbee to do a May stack and since I completely missed doing the April stack that @books_grow_in_my_heart tagged me in I was determined to do this months stack before the month was up ๐Ÿ˜‚ I hope everyoneโ€™s month has been going good so far and that the remainder is even better! Plus I only managed to read two books last month, not including the one I dnfโ€™d about a third of the way through ๐Ÿ˜… I also played around with some of the graphics on canva while Iโ€™m still trying to find my favourite way of putting posts together cause I usually prefer to do book stacks but I only have the physical copy of one of these books at present so here we are lol. What book(s) are you looking forward to reading this month? ๐Ÿ–ค by @belzebubzbookz

I love my green hair so much! After years of not dying my hair I finally caved one night and dyed it green and Iโ€™ve felt more like myself than I have in a while! Unfortunately you canโ€™t really see how green my hair is cause with the filter I use it looks almost black so I have posted some photos that show the actual colour of my hair ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š If youโ€™re seeing this and youโ€™d like to join in on the challenge then consider yourself tagged, Iโ€™d love to see everyone elseโ€™s version of this ๐Ÿ–ค by @belzebubzbookz
Today is the #internationaltransdayofvisibility and the last day of the #transrightsreadathon for this year so to celebrate Iโ€™ve photographed two stacks representing the transgender and non-binary flags! I managed to read three books for the readathon which is better than I was expecting though I only read one from my to be read list because thatโ€™s the curse of being a mood reader lol. Iโ€™m still planning on reading the other books on said tbr and Iโ€™m looking forward to participating in the readathon again next year cause it was so much fun and brings light to a very important cause ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ๐Ÿค Stay safe out there and remember trans rights are human rights! by @belzebubzbookz
(5/5 stars) completed: 26/03/26 โœง Synopsis โœง A deadly infection. Seven strangers. The fight for survival begins. Jake didnโ€™t think his night could get any worse, but that was before his train stops deep underground and zombies attack and things go from worst-day-ever to run-for-your-life terror. Liv is good at running, mostly from other people straight into a bottle of vodka. But as chaos erupts on the city streets, depending on others may be her only chance at survival. London is gone. The world has ended. In the chaos that remains, seven strangers fight to escape the city. But as they navigate this new and dangerous world, they soon discover that surviving the apocalypse means confronting their deepest fears and making unthinkable choices. Will they make it out alive or will they become just another casualty? โœง Review โœง The zombie story thatโ€™ll rip your heart out. I donโ€™t know what I was expecting other than zombies in this book but it certainly wasnโ€™t to get emotionally attached to a whole bunch of characters and feel all the emotions. Any book that can make me cry, laugh out loud, and want to punch people that are entirely fictional gets a full five stars. The story is very character driven, following two points of view in particular, and diving into characters from all walks of life and how strangers can become family when the world collapses. I am very curious to see where the story goes from here and I will be immediately jumping into the next little snippet of the story in the novella, How We Began, followed by the final book How We Survive! ๐Ÿ–ค by @belzebubzbookz
