A little throwback Thursday. When I worked out for party tricks.

Being in the military taught me that home isn’t always a place. After years of moving around and living states away from family, you learn to find family in the people around you.

That’s why community means so much to me. These are the people I struggle with, laugh with, grow with, and share so much of my life with.

I may not always get to spend time with my family back home, but every chance I get, I’ll gladly spend it with these people.

Sometimes family isn’t about where you come from, but who makes you feel at home. ❤️

We come together chasing something, only to realize that somewhere along the way, we’re helping each other figure out what it means to live. FRIENDSHIP

Everyone deserves the freedom to exist, to feel safe, to love, and to live without having to justify who they are.

I know what it means to compete. To lock in, push past limits, and give everything I have to something.

Fitness taught me discipline, resilience, and how much I’m capable of when I refuse to quit.

That part of me isn’t going anywhere.

But jewelry is teaching me a different kind of strength. One that doesn’t require me to constantly push harder, move faster, or prove something.

I can still be relentless in my passion while giving myself the grace to slow down, experiment, fail, and enjoy creating.

I know how to push myself. Now I’m learning when to let myself breathe.
