About this weekend. Garrett and I went to Victoria for a quick getaway. I popped over to the @royalbcmuseum to check out the Egyptian exhibit. Then a nice evening having dinner and drinks. Followed by @thebutchartgardens on Saturday.

Yesterday the @cfsnowbirds flew their final Canadian airshow in the Canadair CT-114 Tutor. A staple at airshows for the past 55 years. I remember the first time I caught a glimpse of them flying from my back patio in White Rock in 2001. Then my first ever airshow in 2014 with my husband Garrett. Since that time I've had the pleasure of getting to know some of the team. All wonderful people who wore their red suits proudly. I've also had a chance to meet fellow Snowbird lovers and photographers over the years.

While this chapter maybe coming to a close, it is not the end of the iconic Snowbirds. Until the next time, blue skies.

Abandoned buildings. Creepy or facinating?

Some places aren't forgotten. They simply wait to be remembered. 🖤
An abandoned mental hospital, photographed from the only place visitors are allowed to stand. No need to step inside—the building tells its own story.

An incredibly sad day. Canada's Defense Minister has announced the 2026 season will be their last season until new planes arrive.

Because of the team I've met so many people whom I call friends. @arimahajan @oreo_12357 @the2jet @the.megan.timm @richmacdougy @erik.rcaf @hazer35 @smical29.
