My son rang me yesterday and told me he had to do a 5 minute speech at school in front of his class on any subject he wanted and he chose to speak about his dad.

I’ll never understand how I got so lucky to have this beautiful and kind boy come into my world.

I’ve always tried my best to be as present as I can and be the best dad I can be and It’s not always easy with touring and being away from home for long periods of time.

I hope one day he understands it all. I hope he sees the drive and passion I’ve always given for the thing I love and I hope one day he finds something he loves and does the same.

Hearing he stood up in front of his class and chose to talk about me means more to me than he’ll ever know.

I miss you my moon see you next week. taken in Columbus, Ohio by @ben_acrs
