BUSINESS TRIP TO MYRTLE BEACH🏃‍♂️🌴🌊☀️ Took another Win in my heat!🥇The team went 1234 in our heat of the 1500m! Also raced an 800m for a cherry on top to get some extra work/experience in. Learned a lot from this meet, and had a ton of fun! Nothing but gratitude that I’m healthy right now✝️I’m ready to rip the bandaid off again and chase some standards. 2025, Been through it. I’m still standing. God is Good. Putting it as honest as I can, this year tested me to my very limits not just with running but as a human being. I started off so strong January 1st-April 26th and was riding cloud 9. I graduated High-school, signed to a great college team and school as well as placing 3rd at State. It felt like I was dreaming. God is Good. Thats when I got the news. I had a femoral neck(hip) stress fracture on the compression side of the bone. If the fracture had been on the opposite side of the bone I would have never run again, and would have had to of had screws implanted into my hip. God is good. I Cross trained all summer, and it drained me. God is Good. I started running again July 26th, I was so happy, but this road of rehabbing was a long and agonizing journey. God is Good. May 8th-December 23rd, throughout this period I felt like each day I was being tested. I unfortunately had to miss my opportunity to live and train in flagstaff for the summer due to injury. I got 2 MRI’s, battled tendonitis consistently which kept putting me in and out of training, my capillary in my nose broke almost every single day(HORRIBLE bloody nose) I damaged my prostate CrossTraining. Watched my freshman season of College XC sleep away from my fingertips. I lost a lot of relationships that I cared about during this period. I battled doubt daily. I didn’t understand why this was happening to me, I felt hollow. I felt betrayed. I felt lost. God is Good. I came so close to tapping out, but at the very end of this year I learned a very valuable lesson. I must be contempt with who I am because God made me and you in his own image. God wouldn’t have given me these obstacles if I wouldn’t have been able to handle them, and through this experience I’ve found growth and praise God I’ve found better health. God is Good.
