Major thank you to @rupe.co for trusting me to make @utphilmill’s birthday gift. The goal was to imagine & create what a @canes jersey would look like if they played a game in Japan.

Favorite detail has to be the framing around the name plate on the back of the jersey, as a nod to a traditional Japanese arch, also called Torii Gate ⛩️⛩️⛩️ by @ben_yellin

Beyond grateful for the opportunity to work with the @hornets to create a custom jersey for each of the 4 rookies they drafted this year, paying homage to each of the player’s colleges. Honored that this project was able to support their annual Hornets Hero Gala.

I’ve been wanting to design jerseys for an NBA Organization for the longest time so it feels a bit surreal as it comes to fruition🪻

BIG thank you to @mikejonesnc for vouching for my work. I feel very lucky to have friends that mention my name in rooms that I’m not currently in.

And thank you to @kf.mariposa for keeping us all on track 🙏🏽

I’m pretty sure that I made this jersey so @godrinati & @oliwiaorwhatever had to hangout with me... Whatever the reason was, I’m grateful to have friends that support my continued obsession with making classic jerseys a lil spicier 🌶️ by @ben_yellin

Had this idea of chainstitched camouflage pants for a while now. Thankfully I met @lu.and.company, who’s mastered the art of chainstitch embroidery, and was finally able to make this idea materialize. If you haven’t seen someone chainstitch, go check out her page; It’s a mesmerizing process. Grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented local artisan✨

I finished the Markham Waxers hockey jersey commission and my boi @_blainebutler climbed on top of some shelves to take some pictures of it; hard not to crack a smile. I love the Japanese Shibori form of tie dyeing & the deep indigo color that comes along with it. I think it compliments the Waxers’ colors well too. I had to do something a little extra crazy for these alternate @laclippers jerseys. The floral numbering & stars on this piece took way longer than I expected, but I’m super grateful to have the opportunity to further perfect these jerseys.

Growing up, all kids my age loved Jerome “The Bus” Bettis. Very few of us remember that he was actually drafted by the Rams before being traded to the Steelers, where I believe most of our memories of him lie. For this project, I wanted to create my version of a pro bowl jersey by adding some tropical themed fabric to an already classic jersey, a testament to the true all star that @jerome36bettis is 🚌

LeCompte embroidered mock neck shirts are available for purchase. Also I will be raffling off the custom LeCompte Design bike at the end of the month. All proceeds will be going to @fnb_raleigh. You can secure some FUNctional art while supporting the community. Can’t beat that!
