"Just watched 'Mirrors and Reflections'... This hit me differently".
This is a truly interesting movie. Some of the sad scenes were quite heavy to sit through, but Bimbo Ademoye brought a sense of relief with her outstanding performance, especially through Ifeoluwa’s sassy and lively character.
Without going deep into the cause of Ifedayo’s demise or Ifeoluwa’s impersonation, I took a broader lesson about life from the story. People spend years in school and put in so much hard work to become professionals in a particular field. Yet, there are others who find themselves in that same field without ever studying for it or working toward it.
When this happens, they may feel lost or confused about how to succeed or make an impact, simply because it was never the path they planned. But with a prepared mind, a true sense of purpose, passion, and the humility to learn, they can still rise and achieve great things.
In the end, it’s not always about experience—it’s about the readiness of your mind to grow into a space you never planned for, but somehow life placed you in.
