This was a special project—a blue screen shoot in Slovenia, and a solo trip for me to the stunning Italian lakes for the backgrounds. It had the added bonus of dropping in on my in-laws and having a lovely dinner in Milan! It’s always a pleasure working with all these lovely people @jeffstanlow @joaopadua @tobycourlander @hanniballang_colour @saam_hodivala @kittiwake_digital. Praise be to @chazgee & @david.surely and @charlotte_lipsius. @biscuit.filmworks @pablolondoncreative . @birrificioporettiuk (tasty beer!). @untold_studios crew!!! by @benathycromalin

In the days of rising dough and bountiful harvests, there lived a humble baker, whose heart overflowed with the warmth of kindness and the skillful artistry of bread-making. Upon a day’s passing, Luke the third born, beseeched his father to craft unto him “Cross Buns”, and so he diligently set forth to fashion them with the leaven of sourdough. Lo, from his hands emerged Hot Cross Buns, adorned with the sweetness of raisins and some with the richness of chocolate chips.

And it came to pass that when Luke beheld the fruits of his father’s labor, his countenance radiated with joy, and he uttered words of gratitude unto his father. Yea, his spirit soared, and the delight thereof encompassed the hearts of his kinfolk. For in the breaking of bread, they found not only sustenance but also the bonds of familial love strengthened.

Thus, let it be written in the annals of time, that the making of “Cross Buns” brought forth not only savory morsels but also the abundant blessings of unity and contentment upon the household of Cronin Francini. #hotcrossbuns #sourdough by @benathycromalin
