I haven’t skated in a very long time so might as well make a silly video of me getting back on the board. It was fun to see how hard it was for me to land the basics. Couldn’t have done it without Antoinette on the camera. Song is Baba Yaga by Go Home and the pizza is from Franks. by @benbittonphoto

My grandma and grandpa Lee are fun to be around and there’s a lot of laughing that happens in that household. During this shoot grandpa took a nap and woke up with some amazing hair and started playing his harmonica, while my grandma made eggs and toast. These days my grandpa likes to ask me who I’m dating, so I show him a picture of Antoinette and he says, “how did you convince a girl that beautiful to date you?” 😂 taken in Utah by @benbittonphoto

This is my grandma Bitton, she was very nice and let me photograph her around her home. She is a very strong woman and I look up to her. She’s a fan of country music but not a fan of Johny Cash. taken in Utah by @benbittonphoto

Fun shoot with the family dog Maeser. You know it’s a tasty drink when you have to stand on the table on all fours to drink it. Thank you @toinettebitton for letting me use our kitchen cutting board for this shoot. taken in Layton, Utah by @benbittonphoto

In this image you’ll see me standing in a burnt landscape, although a majority of the vegetation is burnt to a crisp there are still some specs of green where some plants managed to survive. This image is a metaphor for me this year, as freelance photographer/photo assistant my plans and safety nets were burning around me. What the viewer of this first image doesn’t see is that there is a lush green field across the street. This year I have so much to be grateful for as my wife, family, friends, and coworkers have helped lead me out of the burnt landscape and into the lush green field. So grateful for all the amazing people in my life and I look forward to what the future holds.

What a fun shoot! Antoinette found this great location for us to shoot and if you’re into comfy robes you definitely need to check out @wearconamor

These love birds had their 65th anniversary a few weeks back and I had the chance to do some portraits of them.
These are my grandparents and I’m so glad I could capture their love and happiness together. My grandpa has always been a character and I told him I needed a really big smile and that’s what I got! I’ve been thinking of getting into doing portraiture focusing on grandparents, Let me know if you think this is a cool idea or if you’d like your grandparents to have a fun photo shoot! taken in Syracuse, Utah by @benbittonphoto
