A few years of hard work and big dreams is all it takes to change your life.

When I founded @globemusicgroup in 2023, the vision was to build the biggest music label for instrumental background music in the world. We haven’t reached that goal yet but hitting over 100 million streams last year was a huge milestone along the way.

It took about a year of trial and error until we became profitable. Since mid 2024 things really started to click and our streams have been growing consistently ever since. Now, as of April 2026, we’ve surpassed 350 million total streams.

The road to 1 billion is still long but for the first time it feels truly within reach.

It honestly blows my mind what we’ve built over the past few years. Just goes to show what’s possible when you stay focused, be persistent, and keep pushing toward your goals.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey and for how everything has come together.

In January this year @annabellfilmann and I did the craziest road trip of our lives.

We drove from Germany all the way to the North Cape, the northernmost point of Europe, far above the Arctic Circle, in the middle of winter 😂🥶

It took us three weeks to get there, with endless drives through the forests of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland but it was so worth it. Elks, reindeer, northern lights, and out of this world frozen national parks were along the way.

We experienced temperatures down to –30°C, but luckily our car handled the harsh conditions with ease. Once we crossed the Arctic Circle, we didn’t even have daylight anymore, and the iPhone weather app showed the next sunrise in 7+ days.

I highly recommend everyone to do something like this at least once in your life. Unfortunately, the pictures in this post don’t come close to showing the real beauty and everything we experienced so make sure to see it for yourself. taken in North Cape Norway by @benbreternitz
