This past weekend I finally got back on the platform for the first time in almost 3 years. I ended up going 8/9 and winning men's open 90kg class with meet PRs in every lift and an all time deadlift pr of 612! (S:230kg, B:175kg, D:277.5)
Im definitely happy with how the meet turned out and I'm proud of the work I put in but there are two people in particular I want to shout out and thank regardless of outcome.
The first is my coach @thepowerliftingprofessor with @teamcontinuum_ . When I say this it's not to disparage any coach I've worked with in anyway but as a testament to how good Dev is at what he does. He has been essential in every aspect of my training from rehab to refeed and everything in between, and approaches each training block with objective criticism and subjective knowledge of me as a lifter and a person and it's not short of fucking magic. It cannot in be overstated how well this coach/client relationship has worked for me thus far and how important having this kind of relationship is. Thank you Dev
The next is @the_chthonic_chemist who has been an incredible and supportive partner for almost 3 years but particularly over the last few months. It is impossible to spend 2-4 hours 4 days a week at the gym and be successful without having the stuff outside of the gym go smoothly and there are limitless sacrifices small and large that you put in along the way and I am incredibly grateful for all of them. Thank you Heather

June was a pretty big month for me in terms of competing. On the 2nd I competed in the USAPL NJ State Championships. I walked away with 3rd in 83kg open missing 2nd only on bodyweight, and qualified for Raw Nationals with a 625kg total. And since I had already been cutting for 11 weeks I decided to compete in Mens physique at the NPC Garden State Championships this past Saturday. I cut 10 pounds in those 27 days and managed to put together my best look to date. Theres a 10 pound difference between the 2nd and 3rd pic. Big thanks to all the fellow lifters at @impactzonenj for pushing me every day and my coach @hamstringpapi for tolerating me going completely awol on programming for the last month.
TLDR: I lifted weights, and look how skinny i got😂 by @benbulson

Deadlift and Bench day went...about as well as any day that starts with deadlifts. 🤢
