The last time I hit an all time PR was nearly 4 years ago. Yep, you read that correctly. Any seasoned powerlifter knows that progress isn’t linear and that challenges will arise. For me personally, those challenges were two injuries. I’d be lying if I say that I didn’t think about throwing in the towel at times. But it’s thanks to the stellar people in my life helping remind me to keep going and remind me why I love lifting. 😭🫶

The road to this point has felt longgg I have to tell you, but it definitely makes this win feel THAT much better 🤩 For anyone feeling like their training has stalled, remember that it’s not about the speed of your progress, rather it’s the direction you’re going!

Let’s continue to change the narrative on pregnant women; we can be extremely strong, and not as fragile as society thinks.
