This new system won’t build itself. It will be built by all of us coming together in collaboration and co-creation.

There are amazing people doing amazing work, held back by the very system they are fighting.

We want to help.

The community part of this ecosystem is one of the most important.

Where like-hearted people come together to have real conversations, reconnect with truth and nature, and unite in collective action in our local communities.

If this resonates — you care deeply about the Earth, you’ve done the inner work, and you’re ready for a home that holds both — there is a place for you.

The Living Commons (TLC) for Earth-caring people who feel the current global systems failing.

TLC is a refuge and stewardship hub where inner healing and Earth healing become one — nourishing inner resilience, restoring purposeful belonging, and co-creating life-aligned systems, together.

We accomplish this together by:
1. Regulating our nervous systems
2. Exploring the systems shaping our world and reconnecting with Earth.
3. Building and funding bioregional regenerative infrastructure (system change)

We cannot heal the Earth from a dysregulated body. We cannot heal our bodies while ignoring the Earth.

We cannot build belonging inside structures designed for competition.

So we begin somewhere different.

With regulation, relationship, common ground, and shared stewardship.

Less “fix the world.” More embodied stewardship.

No fighting. No resistance. Just building the new systems that will render the old obsolete.

Grounded. Relational. Stabilizing.

If you feel the pull, comment “TLC” and we’ll send you the link. by @benclark10

The biggest problem with funding system change right now is this:

We pour money into individual projects. They’re siloed and competing for the same grants. And the projects often die when the funding stops.

That’s not regenerative. That’s just the same extractive pattern with better intentions.

Instead of funding projects that fight the current systems, we fund the new systems. Those systems will fund the projects.

The infrastructure includes mission-locked trusts owned by no one and Bioregional Financing Facilities (BFF’s) that circulate resources like the water cycle — self-regenerating, nothing extracting, everything collaborating.

We’ve started building this and we’re calling in the people who want to help build the new system.

The work I share in this video comes from a co-creative effort with my friends and co-stewards @jarrod.is and Mandy Magill with @earthregenerationalliance along with many other collaborators and advisors over the last few years.

Some of the language and ideas in this video draws directly from Samantha Power and Leon Seefeld’s Bioregional Financing Facilities (BFF) framework in their book and in conversations our team has shared with the BioFi team. We’ve studied that work closely. It shaped how we think about trust-based, community-owned capital.

We honor the Indigenous wisdom that is embedded in the core of this new and ancient system: a kinship worldview where all of life is an interconnected web of relationships.

Thank you, I love you ❤️🙏🏼 by @benclark10

The global meditations, conscious creators, and retreats are powerful. And, they are not infrastructure.

Without new infrastructure, these “New Earth”businesses will die in an extractive system that cannot hold their intentions.

We need systems, not just businesses.

Those systems must mirror nature at a bioregional level and nourish all beings within.

We begin on the ground in communities with the people already in place.

Then we co-create self-regenerating financial systems that circulate within the community and are held in non-ownership Trust structures.

The system nourishes the soil and feeds kids healthy, local food while the overall water holding capacity of the bioregion heals.

This same system can be applied to housing, energy, water, and all basic needs in a community.

We also believe that Indigenous wisdom and leadership must be central to the stewardship of these systems. Indigenous peoples all over the world have lived in right relationship and reciprocity and carry this wisdom forward.

There’s a lot more to this and we are actively beginning this bioregional initiative in fiscal partnership with the Savory Institute. We need all of our genius together to build these systems.

Comment “TLC” to come co-create with us.

And go watch my other 2 pinned posts to learn how we render the corrupt system obsolete and how we fund the new system. by @benclark10

our strategy is simple:

non-ownership is the root because in truth nothing can be owned besides in a legal fiction.

claiming “ownership” of something we disconnects us from the whole.

“mine mine mine” has to go.

all we must do to regenerate the planet and build a thriving resilient world for all generations is to align back with Life/Nature

we are not separate from Nature, but our current systems have been built as if we are. they cannot last.

the nature of Nature is regeneration so this is inevitable as we re-orient toward Nature.

we begin with a 365 year Public Benefit Trust which has no owner or beneficiary other than the purpose itself - to re-align Humanity with All Life.

the trust can hold all asset classes.

the Trust is held in the Commons in service of Life. nothing inside can ever be extracted from.

it exists to hold wealth in a Commons for All Life and convey that wealth into the soil through watershed regeneration.

at the same time we build parallel institutions rooted at the bioregional/watershed level which circulate wealth within that ecosystem rather than wealth extracted out of local communities and into shareholder pockets.

rather than look only to philanthropy to fund this system, we can use the current system itself to fund it when businesses pledge a % of their revenue toward whole systems watershed regeneration.

this is a smart business move because without investing in the regeneration of our land, no business will outlast the destruction of Nature.

the institutions are built to nourish local communities by healing the soil and regenerating the water cycle which will prevent more destructive droughts, fires, floods and famines.

kids will have clean local food and safe resilient communities to build their lives in.

we also have a cultural hub where aligned people are embodying a regenerative culture and supporting each other in building the infrastructure for these new systems in our local communities.

we don’t have to fight of fix the current system because these new systems will simply render the corrupt systems obsolete.

i don’t need hope anymore.

we are writing an inevitable story.

the reality of a regenerated Earth with flourishing ecosystems, healthy local food, clean water and our basic needs met in community is already real.

that reality exists now.

i choose to feel that reality as real now.

i choose to orient my heart toward Life.

and a natural quality of Life is regeneration.

when we reconnect with Life itself, we cannot help but reconnect with the power of regeneration.

as we walk in this truth, our actions will align back into right-relationship with Life and we will become stewards of a Resilient World.

so i let go of hope.

my faith and trust in an inevitable story is all i need. by @benclark10

these pics are years apart and filled with lifetimes of lessons.

i don’t like “step by step” solutions bc there is no such thing. and, there are such a thing and they can be supportive if they resonate.

the wisdom i‘ve come to remember over the last few years points towards 3 intentions:

1. accept
2. trust
3. surrender

bonus (best applied as often as possible) - breaaaaathe

we all think we’re broken and needing to fix ourselves to be good enough. we are and we aren’t. yes we all carry parts that are wounded, lost, and hurting. and, all of those parts of exactly as they are so we can remember our power and wholeness.

striving and trying is outdated. we gotta slow the f*ck down and trust in the emergence of life through our presence. a life beyond our wildest dreams awaits. give yourself permission to be free

acceptance does not have to mean approval. it means to be grounded in presence. it means to release the stories of judgement - “bad” or “good”, and simply witness.

trust offers us space to let go of control. the need to dominate what we do not understand exhausts our life energy. to trust opens the doorway for grace to work in your life.

surrender because you can do nothing else. surrender humbles our ego as it remembers itself as One. this “step” flows naturally through acceptance and trust as is integrated through the physical body.

we carry so much tension in our body. the need to perform and to produce sit like straight jackets over our creative potential. as we breaaathe and relax our bodies into the feeling of surrender, the channels for our Highest Expression open again.

in 2023 i dreamed of a high net worth, coaching business, millions of followers, $100k months, and huge impact.

in 2026, i dream of owning nothing, living on sacred land, being in nature, playing and growing with a wife and kids, being close with family and friends, listening to Mother Earth and stewarding nourishing systems for all beings - human and more-than-human.

i dream not of legacy but of being a good ancestor. that my great great great great grandkids cannot imagine that the world was ever in the state it is now because all is so well.

what is your dream? by @benclark10

no being deserves to be treated this way.

yet it’s happening all over the world.

the destruction of our homes, and our Home,

Mother Earth.

I saw an article the other day titled, “Boomers Were Supposed to Downsize. They Are Buying Bigger Homes Instead.”

What are we doing?

Why do we need more?

Why can’t our more be more connection, depth, clean food, clean water, native flowers, support for those in need, nature, nourishing kids…

Bigger homes, sourced from materials harvested extractively far outside the region, with money and power flowing into the hands of a few, and more extraction…

Where has our care gone for that which provides us Life? Our communities? our families, our land, our soil, our water?

I choose to join the ones who want to be stewards of our communities.

I choose to retract my participation from a system that does not nourish Life.

I choose to live not for power, status, and wealth, but for love, service, and nourishment.

And I choose to grapple with my humanity, my earthlyness, as I surf the waves of anger, grief, shame, guilt, pride, joy, peace, and love.

I choose not to be perfect, but to be present.

Our culture has lost the plot. Our hearts have not.

Remember your Heart and Earth are One.

Small new choices now go a long way for Life.

thank you Momma Deer for your Being and for reminding me the anger i feel when i see you and your babies’ home destroyed is the love i feel for you and All 🥺🫀🌎

I love you, friend.

my love for this planet feels like anger right now. i’ve been trying to suppress and fix my anger because i don’t want this to be what my love looks like right now. i don’t want to create more anger.

but anger is what i am feeling, so maybe I can love the anger for what it is and let it move.

If this resonates — you care deeply about the Earth, you've done the inner work, and you're ready for a home that holds both — there is a place for you.

If you’re struggling right now, you are not alone. We are living in unprecedented times.

We are in the middle of a cultural migration back home. For 1000’s of years, humans have been playing out a story that says we are separate from Nature / Life and are therefore meant to rule and conquer the Earth and all beings.

This belief in separation is rooted in nearly all of our current systems globally. It’s no wonder we’re all struggling.

It’s like phone disconnected from its power source. It can only last so long using energy until it dies.

That is humanity right now.

We are feeing the collective ache of our own destruction and what we’ve done to Mother Earth. We’re sensitive to her grief too.

The bridge builders have to be sensitive. We must be able to feel the state of the world. The discomfort we feel is a signal to slow down and listen to our hearts and reorient toward our soul’s calling.

A New Earth is being birthed through us. Not in some woo wow way. In a very real, practical way.

In our everyday relationships. With ourselves, our people, and the soil beneath our feet.

As we remember our connectedness, we welcome wholeness back into our hearts and lives.

We will thrive again my friends.

Through our grief, our ache, we remember.

What you’re feeling might not be yours alone. It’s ours.

You are here to remember who you are and shine your light upon the world so that others may remember and thrive too.

I see you, friend.

little life update: there’s a lotttt happening behind the scenes right now. i am itching to get back on the road, and, i trust in the timing. everything is falling into place.

the last year has been a wild ride. the direction Life is guiding me is beyond anything I could have imagined.

it has not been easy or glamorous. it’s been filled with doubt, sacrifice, fear, dysregulation, and chaos.

and, it’s been the most incredible year of self healing, expanding relationships and stewarding emergent visions.

i just keep letting go and trusting in the wisdom Life is offering me each moment. i am listening, feeling and giving myself massive compassionate grace as i fail, numb, avoid and get triggered like the rest of us.

i’ve had days filled with dark thoughts not seeing a place for me here. i’ve also had days filled pure joy and synchronistic magic.

i still don’t really know what i am doing. what I do know is that i am here to be in service of Life and it seems my life is conspiring in a way to make that happen. all i gotta do is Listen and Initiate what’s inspired through my heart… it’s a work in progress.

a big theme for me has been patience. surrendering the timelines and trusting the speed of Life.

i feel great things coming for all Life. i see the Darkness, chaos, destruction and disconnection of our times as a clear sign the Light is shining.

the future is arriving through each of us now — as each of us remembers our connection with Nature, each other, our bodies, and all Life.

i am very optimistic and i hope you’re finding bits of that in your life too. if not, invite that good energy back in.

there’s a lot more to share and that will come in time.

thanks for being here.

i love you,

Losing biodiversity isn’t an environmental problem.

It’s a Life problem. Biodiversity is a measure of Life.

As it decreases, Life decreases. As it increases, Life increases.

I am not just talking about more species. I am talking about the essence, the quality, the strength of Life itself.

Many people and corporations around the world are destroying biodiversity. Destroying Life.

And many people too are protecting, stewarding and nourishing biodiversity. Nourishing Life.

Right now it seems more are destroying than nourishing. And, I believe that is changing before our eyes.

We are waking up. We are remembering. We are beginning to listen again and receive the wisdom of our elders and the people who have been living in right relationship with Mother Earth for thousands of years.

Which do you choose?

To destroy Life or to Nourish Life?

I know which way of being I choose. by @benclark10
