I’m going to try and not be an emotional wreck today, but the tears have already started. I recalled that the last time I wore one of these ( bow tie) it was my grandmother putting it on for me when I was about 4 years old . I still miss her deeply, and this week one of my final links to her, in Grenada - cousin Joan was laid to rest. But today is a happy celebratory occasion and I shall raise a glass to them and their memory! Weather looks great too, so a day to ultimately celebrate . Have a good one and don’t forget to tell those you love, how much you love them, because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed x by @bencopland

I’ve been really run down for the past couple of weeks. Lost my voice and barely had energy to do very much but thankfully seems like I’ve turned a corner . I say thankfully because I have to be well to be father of the bride @siobhancopland in a few days time . So timing could have been worse by @bencopland

Going through old photos and found this one taken in Grenada, with my cousin on Dads side, Scott Andrew, who passed a few years ago, rest in peace. He was lovely . And now I’m replaying in my mind the interactions we had. We didn’t have so many, but I really did enjoy hanging out with him and my other relatives on the island. taken in Grenada, Caribbean by @bencopland
