You never know who you’re going to run into at Pebble Beach! ⛳️ @manoloteachesgolf @psosa09 @jpsosa15

I had the pleasure of meeting Manolo, AKA “Don’t Be Nasty,” at Pebble Beach Golf Resort, and what an amazing human being he is.

During our conversation, I mentioned to him that Jordan Sosa, who competed in the 2026 Don’t Be Nasty Junior Classic in Palm Desert, CA, is my student—and that I had the privilege of being Jordan’s first golf coach.

Jordan went on to finish 3rd place in the tournament. 🏆⛳️

What really stood out to me was Manlo’s kindness. He was so generous with his time and even took the time to send a message to Jordan after hearing that he was my student.

Those moments remind me why I love this game. Golf isn’t just about the scorecard; it’s about the people you meet, the relationships you build, and the opportunities to encourage the next generation.

Daisy’s 1st Birthday 🤍🕊️

My baby would be one today if she had made it.

Since you left us, Daisy, life has taught me so many lessons, and I see the world differently now.

You taught me to be brave. I can almost hear you saying, “Dad, be brave for me. Never give in. Keep pushing until we’re connected again in Heaven.”

And most importantly, you reminded me to take care of Mom and to keep my heart open for whatever beautiful blessings life may bring our way.

Your passing changed my perspective on life. You taught me never to wait for tomorrow. Do it today, because tomorrow may be farther away than you think.

Losing you hits differently than anything I have ever experienced. There are no words that can truly explain what it feels like to lose your child.

Daisy, you will always be my baby. Your life was short, but your impact on me will last forever.

Keep resting peacefully, my beautiful girl, until the day we all meet again in Heaven.

15 years ago today, my father passed away.
Fifteen years have gone by, yet your memory remains deeply rooted in my heart. I wish you could have seen the man I’ve become and the life I’m building. There are so many things I would still love to tell you.

You may be gone from this world, Dad, but you will never be forgotten.

The round started with a bomb on Hole 1—a 343-yard drive that set the tone for the day. There’s nothing quite like watching a tee shot find the fairway and realizing you’ve given yourself a great opportunity from the start.

As the round continued, one of my favorite moments came while walking across the bridge between Hole 3 and Hole 4. Standing there, taking in the scenery, I was reminded that golf is about more than shots and scores. It’s about the places the game takes us and the moments we experience along the way.

Then came Hole 4. After a well-played chip shot onto the green, I converted the putt to finish the hole in style. Those are the moments golfers chase—a good decision, a committed swing, and seeing the ball roll into the cup.

A 343-yard drive. A beautiful walk across the bridge. A chip-and-putt save on Hole 4.

Days like these are why I love this game.
