Announcement – TOKYO STREETS Workshop: Ueno Summer Session

Location: Ueno, Tokyo Date: Thursday, 23rd July Time: 19:30 – 21:30

TOKYO STREETS Workshops are back.

Ahead of the workshop next week, I thought I’d dive into the Uneno archive to give a flavour of what to expect. Uneo is honestly one of my favourite areas to shoot in, raw, kinda grimy backstreets with an edge to them that is unique in Tokyo. I’m excited to see what we can create together next week. Thanks to those who’ve already shown interest, not long to go!

‘Join photographer Adam Benedicto as the city comes alive after sunset, we’ll explore the area’s streets together, looking at light, composition, timing, and how to build stronger photographs in real-world situations.’

Places are limited to keep the workshop personal, so early booking is recommended.

TOKYO STREETS next exhibition is the Tokyo American Club, a private members’ club in Tokyo. Opening today until June.

This exhibition brings together 12 photographers, presenting their work in the Frederick Harris Gallery, a setting slightly different from our usual environment.

We’re looking forward to seeing how the TOKYO STREETS show will be experienced in this space.

TSX - 4 April 21st - 26th @wpushinjuku

Building up to the next TSX 4 here’s a throwback to the December edition of the show.

We also made a mini-documentary (link in bio) in December outlining what TSX is all about and some of the artists who featured in December.

Our aim at TOKYO STREETS X is to showcase physical exhibitions of diverse work from both local and international artists, using various mediums to bring their artistic visions to life. The show is based in Tokyo and highlights artists from around the world who share a commitment to excellence in art, photography and music.
