Hi. I just wanna say Happy Birthday & I love you mom. It’s been a difficult journey through grieving a daughter and a husband but with the love and support of families and friends, we’re getting by a day at a time! Won’t you join us in wishing Marie Bengry a HAPPY 95th BIRTHDAY?! We enjoyed a Croation Chicken dinner with Norm’s french fries, good ol’ UP State Fair Food! Big thanks to Marilyn & LuAnne XO! by @benergy_33

Here’s to the fathers and father figures out there. My dad wasnt perfect but he checked all the boxes for what separates the good parents from the great. He put his children and our mother first, always. Since he passed in February we had to postpone burial. We will be burying him with military honors after the July 4th holdiay. Fresh wounds of loss make this day a difficult one. by @benergy_33

Escanaba hosted an ice cream social today with great live music and some brief talks by local leaders and current candidates running for office in the Democratic Party. It was a challenge for mom (turning 95 in August) but we made it. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing old stories and very kind words in remembering dad.
On behalf of my mother and family, we’d like to say THANK YOU to the Delta Dems, John, Fran, Bart (& Lori) Stupak, Ann Fix, Theresa Nelson, Kelli Van Ginhoven, Nino Green and volunteers. It was very poignant hosting the event across the street from the school he spent the majority of his teaching career in. A beautiful, patriotic bouquet isn’t it? 250 years, so much is changing so fast. by @benergy_33

2023 paddling Sinclair Cove on Agawa Bay, Lake Superior, Ontario, Canada. The bay was covered in tree pollen, as the forests were burning, releasing massive amounts of pollen. by @benergy_33

Well today started with a toilet overflow but ended with the first National Championship for Michigan since I was a senior in highschool! Mom baked me a Maize & Blue cake. I had so many texts and social media birthday greetings. Im so grateful. I been struggling, greiving, its been the hardest year. So thank you for all the love. Go Blue! by @benergy_33
