An ode to finding my way back to running.✨🏃🏾‍♂️

I grew up loving to run. There was always something so freeing about it, the simplicity of moving, breathing, being present. Somewhere along the way, life got busier, and I found myself further and further away from something that had always felt so natural to me.

Funny how, the more we grow up, the more life seems to bring us back to the things we loved as children. The things that made us feel most like ourselves before we ever had to overthink who we were supposed to become.

Running has become a safe space for me again. An outlet. A place to process, to breathe, to be quiet, and sometimes to simply exist without needing to make sense of everything.

And perhaps what feels most different this time is that I’m no longer running away from anything - I’m running towards something, towards myself, towards peace, towards growth, towards the person I’m becoming.🖤 taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @benevolent_michael
