POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sunday’s sunny Pimpama Rollout again had skaters from as far as Brisbane and Lismore! There were rollerdancers Holly "LollySkater", Dion, Tayla "SkaterTayla", and other jamming; park skaters Josh, Emma, Ben and Chase were grinding the rail they set-up and high-jumping the limbo!...Others were skating laps around the courts; there was slalom skating around cones; and as usual kids games! This reel combines video from last Sunday and a previous Pimpama Rollout.

It's going to be a sunny rollout at Mudgeeraba this Sunday 4th Oct 😎☀️

This video from a previous Mudgeeraba Rollout had all wheels, from Kimmy, Khayla, Holly and other rollerdancers practicing choreo; to Josh, Emma, Ben and other park skaters grinding a rail they set up, to other people skating laps or slalom skating, to kids games like roller limbo and the ever popular humans vs doggos race.

Cars honking, people smiling, adults turning into kids again (us included) 😂
Seeing Santa roll by was pure joy.
Soundtrack: my uncontrollable laughter + one very offended dog.
You could feel it — this kind of fun brightened everyone’s day.
Pure Christmas magic ✨

Jolly Santa with real street skills.
Grinding, power sliding, bombing hills, all with a grin.
Proof you can spread Christmas cheer and shred the streets.
Santa’s got edges — and balance.

2025 has been a hell of a year so far. Here's a couple of xrays of my spine, before and after surgery, the huge gash in my belly from surgery and the love of my life, Holly.

I've been suffering for a couple of years with gradually worsening degenerative disk disease. With increasing and constant chronic back pain that ended up ruling my life. I ended up having to give up most of the things I love to do. Even the few things I could still do brought a lot of pain and discomfort if not well managed.

I didn't cope well mentally, being in constant pain made everything a huge challenge. I had to reduce hours at work and struggled to get out of bed daily. I was not in a good headspace and not nice to be around. I unintentionally ended up putting the ones I love the most through my own hell with me.

Finally, in late July I was able to get the surgery I needed. 2 ALIF disk fusions and a full disk replacent on the S1/L5, L5/L4, L4/L3 vertebrae. The surgery was major, but a success and its only been a few weeks since, but I can already walk and sit pain free and feel such a massive difference.

Im excited again, excited about being able to live normally and to do simple things pain free, like sit in a chair. Im super excited to be able to get back on the blades. Even though I need the fusion to heal before I'll be strong enough to skate. Im already super excited for what 2026 will bring. Im excited to get back to work and to get my life back on track.

I want to specially thank @holly_dolly_nicole the one person who has been there for me the entire time and I have put through hell. Words can never do justice how grateful I am to have you in my life. You are the absolute most amazing, kind and beautiful woman. Your strength and encouragement got me through so many dark days. I will always be forever indebt and thankful for everything you've done. I love you forever and always! I can't wait to skate with you again!

Words can’t even describe this feeling! 💍 Last Saturday morning, @benfoote took me for an early skate to watch the sunrise—a time and place that has always felt so special to us. But this time, he made it unforgettable with the most thoughtful, wonderful, and perfectly us proposal!

Skating together has always brought us closer, and I couldn’t imagine a more meaningful way for this moment to happen. Ben, I love you more than words can say. You see me, love me, and accept me for who I am in a way I never knew was possible. You make me happier than I’ve ever been, and I can’t wait for forever with you.

Some buttery wizard skating stuff.

I haven't been able to do any aggressive skating this year, so I haven't been posting much. But I'm enjoying learning some swivelly wizard skating moves when I can get skates on my feet.

I'm pretty limited with movement currently. I can't do jumps more than a little hop without pain, at least until I have surgery on my spine. 🤞

Thanks to the love of my life, @lollyskater, for always pushing me and your continued support. 😘❤️

I turned 43 and made a @wizardskating video. It's been super fun testing the PR80 frames out. Seeing what they can do. Rolling on soft rubber playgrounds and very rough surfaces where aggressive skates can't go. It's been fun learning new moves and looking at old and new spots in a different light. I highly recommend them!

Big shout out to my love Holly @lollyskater for always being there supporting me and filming.
