Mom 1950-2025. Jumping back on this account to archive some pics of Mom I found while going through the old family photos. We lost her this week and I miss her so much. I posted some newer ones over on my regular account @worldfamousoriginal but these are some of the great ones from when I was a baby. by @bengoetting

In 1996 AOL went from 2.99/hr to UNLIMITED and lots of us started spending an insane amount of hours in PUNK CHAT. To the point that there were lots of regulars that we all knew each other only by our screen names. There were no digital cameras, very few people had scanners, and if you did have a “pic” even it was very low resolution it took two minutes to send and two minutes to download. So a few people put together a zine called Punk Chat Scrap Book that was basically a physical copy of MySpace before social media like this existed. He printed up a zine for anyone that sent him a pic and we all got our first glimpse of all our online fiends. Here is the entire zine! If you know anyone tag them!

The making of a chainstitch patch. Step one - reference, because I can’t really draw. Step two - draw. Step 3 - make the patch and compare it to the source material. #chainstitchembroidery taken in World Famous Original by @bengoetting
