Hate cuts like a knife.
Blades move through the night.
Killing everything.
In tears of blood we swim.
Slaughtering everything.

What a day at @dayofwreckoning 2026.

A huge thank you to the @m2tmsouthwales crew for putting on another fantastic event and for looking after us throughout the day.

It was great to share the stage with so many great bands, including @tiberiusuk, @mother_vulture and of course the legend himself @gingerwildheart (@thewildhearts) - and we even got to meet Maggie 🐶

We were also really pleased to see the review from @metaltalk_net, who described us as: “Swansea thrash veterans Helldown open the evening’s sets with a powerful, muscular set that proves why they remain one of the leading lights in the South Wales scene.”

Massive congratulations to @inscapeband on winning this year's Metal 2 the Masses South Wales. A well deserved win for Swansea, catch you at @bloodstockopenair 2026!

Thanks to everyone who came out, watched, supported, bought merch, had a chat, or made some noise for all the bands involved.

Here's a collection of photos from the day. Special thanks to @stagedivephotos for some of the shots.

We've been quiet recently, but with good reason. Busy in the background. @matt_helldown and @lewislarkman are locked in doing pre-production for our Debut album.

We can't wait to get it out there.

Happy New Year! 🎉🥂

2025 was one hell of a year for Helldown, with many shows across the UK, our third tour, stepping onto the hallowed Bloodstock EMP stage, and celebrating two marriages within the band!

A year of growth, momentum, and milestones. Both on and off stage ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, and made it matter. More to come in 2026 🤘
