As of Wednesday I have moved (partially - all the main furniture is being used to stage the house for showings this weekend) into my new apartment. It was exhausting in a lot of ways to move my essentials and a few other things on my own but I am excited to have started this next phase of life! I mean just look at that view!

It’s been one week since Amanda moved into her own place and yesterday the same U-Haul was parked on our street for a moment which was interesting. It’s been a very mentally exhausting time as my brain fixates on ways to adjust the house to fit living solo as well as on what needs to be done to prep it to sell. And yes, sometimes it is sad because it’s the end of a huge part of my life (even if that end has been in process for over a year and half) but it’s also very exciting because I have no idea what is next but I’m really looking forward to it! taken in Benton Park West by @benhelman

Nov 1st - 10th has been pretty event-filled:

1st - help set up the Golden Gems/Hidden Gem pop up for Laumeier After Dark.
2nd - attended and helped at the After Dark event and then went to see Hot Joy, From Indian Lakes, and Foxing at Delmar Hall.
3rd - drove to Chicago, grabbed a drink with a friend from the old UO days, saw Menno Versteeg and the final tour of an all time favorite Tokyo Police Club.
4th - free day in Chicago, went and got some Italian beef, last minute decided to go to my first ever NBA game, went and checked out a rad bar in the neighborhood I was staying.
5th - got some baked goods at a Palestinian cafe, went and checked out the dog beach (again) before leaving Chicago for Indianapolis. Once in Indianapolis, went and saw My Brother My Brother and Me live with my brother and sister in law.
6th - woke up to the latest horror that is living in this late stage capitalistic hellscape, but at least this time my brothers dog is around. Walked to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, saw some dino bones and other cool stuff, went to see The Adventure Zone live.
7th - drove back to STL and passed out
8th & 9th - some down time but also a band practice for the first time in over a month.
10th - saw The Forecast and Spitalfield for the first time in about 15 years at Off Broadway.
(Oh and the 11th - saw Shady Bug and more at a show at the Kerr Foundation)
