In the world of pageantry, we observers , most of the time just focus on the results. We take for granted the amount of time and effort each candidate gives to achieve their dream. As a father, I was blessed to witness firsthand, the dedication and hard work my daughter @litenayubi , put into the Binibining Pilipinas pageantry these past months. From the countless late night pasarelas, Q&A training, strict dieting to the numerous rehearsals, day and night I saw the determination and dedication in getting to the level she wanted to be. Hardwork indeed made the dream work. For a first-timer in pageantry, she secured the Binibining Tourism and was part of this year’s top 12 semifinalist. An achievement already, given her lack of experience. What made me admire her even more is how she remained kind, humble, respectful and true to herself during this whole journey. That to me, is what mattered most. So Ate, I am truly blessed to have you as a daughter. You have made me and Mom proud that words can’t even describe. Thank you for all that you did for God, our family, relatives, friends, the province of Aklan , and everyone who supported you. You won their hearts because they saw the beautiful person we’ve always seen. I will always be here to support you, whichever path you take. Keep being that Lite in a world full of darkness. You’ve shone brightly , and I can’t wait for what God has in store for you in the future. by @litenayubi

last night i learned the importance of the power of pause during moments of immense pressure & being one step away from your dreams. this journey has been unforgettable filled with memories & meeting everyone from different walks of life. my first pageant would not have been the same without an entire team i call my family! so grateful to be in this year’s top 12! thank you @bbpilipinasofficial for this heartfelt experience! im very excited for the redirection this will lead to in the near future! this is just the beginning 😉 💖👑 by @litenayubi
