Where to begin! Last night was one of the highlights of my life! I am so grateful that I was able to share it with people who are open to discussing celibacy without judgement and shame. Nashville! What a lovely time we had together! 💙

From the National Museum of African American Music—which has officially made my Top 5 museums of all time—to spending time by the pool reading Mara Brock Akil’s rollercoaster-ass book, to making my way to the Museum of Christian & Gospel Music and somehow having the entire museum to myself…what a way to enjoy a work trip!

But the most beautiful moment wasn’t captured on camera.

While watching Hezekiah Walker perform “I Need You to Survive” from his Dove Awards performance, tears began to fall from my eyes. One of the museum employees walked into the room, heard the song, and began singing it directly to me.

What made the moment even more emotional was that I had just placed a prayer in the museum’s prayer box for my friends and family.

Standing there, hearing the words “I need you to survive” being sung to me after offering that prayer…it felt like so much more than a coincidence. It was one of those beautiful, unexpected moments that you can’t plan, stage, or capture—you can only experience it.

A special moment I will always cherish.

God, thank you for your many blessings and my beautiful friends. Friends that have turned into family. It's beautiful to see my closest friends in the same room celebrating me. I haven't celebrated a birthday in NYC for quite some time and I am clear, nothing tops this. Though I enjoy being out and about, being in a safe space with my riders is always top tier. Missing a few, but your presence was there.

6 weeks in Texas just flew right on by! From Houston to Waco I enjoyed myself at the rodeo, time spent with my cousin, working with my homie from NYC who moved to Texas, and hiking at the most beautiful park!

The best part of it all... H-E-B! If you know, then you know.

As the countdown to 2026 begins, I want to highlight some of my favorite moments of 2025!

3. Getting dolled up for a gathering in DC.

6. My favorite walking trail back home.
7. Connecting with my girl @lindaswong after 10 years of not seeing each other!
