Help Lucrezia begin a new chapter❤️

Last year I spent six weeks in Tbilisi, Georgia documenting the LGBTQIA+ scene which is under extreme pressure due to the shifting political climate and the implementation of a new anti-LGBTIA+ law that undermines basic human rights. The UN warns that this law could encourage hate speech, lead to more incidents of violence and reinforce stigmatization.

Lucrezia is a central figure in the georgian LGBTQIA+ scene and I had the privilege of spending some time with her and photographing her.

Due to the circumstances and the transphobic environment in the country she has to move abroad to grow into the woman she is and continue making her art that gives voices to people like herself.

I’ve put the link to her GoFundMe in my bio. Please consider making a contribution if possible❤️ by @benjakrog
