Comment “cabin” and I’ll send through the booking link. One of my first true cabin loves. A small, off-grid, Taiwanese-inspired cabin set on 100 acres with no one else around. Just quiet, birds, a fire going, and an outdoor bath. Tucked away on Bruny Island — about 45 minutes south of Hobart to Kettering, then a short ferry across. by @benjamin.little_
Save this for your next Tasmanian escape ✨ Today’s the final day of summer here in Tasmania. I’ve been picking blackberries along the roadside lately, a sure sign the season is about to change. 🍂 If there was ever a place to enjoy the final blessings of a Tasmanian summer, I’d tell you @thecobbarn. A handmade cottage built from earth and surrounded by old forest. It has many incredible features for guests to experience. My favourite was the spiral maze that leads to an outdoor bath completely wrapped in flowers and vines. And of course the little duckies that befriended me during my visit too. Grateful for the lessons, the memories, and the quiet blessings this summer gave. by @benjamin.little_
📍Add this to your Tasmania bucket list!✨ Welcome to Thalia Haven — a 130-acre private oceanfront escape on the east coast of Tasmania, with its own golden-sand beach, sweeping views of Great Oyster Bay, and one of the most iconic outdoor baths in Australia. Four king-bed stone pavilions circle an olive-garden courtyard, so everyone has their own private villa — then comes together in the central living spaces with roaring fireplaces, long tables, and the most extraordinary views. Just 90 minutes from Hobart Airport, yet it feels like another world. Tag someone you want to stay here with! @stayzau #Ad #Tasmania #Expedia #Stayz by @benjamin.little_
There’s so much more to kunanyi / Mt Wellington than the view from the summit. 🏔️ A few of my favourite spots worth exploring: 💙 The Disappearing Tarn – A magical blue pool that only appears after heavy rain. Getting there is an adventure in itself! 🌳 Myrtle Forest – Towering trees, lush ferns and beautiful waterfalls. An absolute hidden gem. 🌿 Breath Quiet Hideaways – Secluded mountain cabins tucked away in the forest at Fern Tree. 🍻 Fern Tree Tavern – The perfect spot for a post-adventure feed and a drink. Know another great spot on the mountain? Share it in the comments so we can all discover somewhere new. Save this one for your next Hobart adventure! 🏔️ by @benjamin.little_
Not a bad spot to disappear to for a few days 🌿🏔️ @breath.tasmania by @benjamin.little_
A little mountain escape, just 15 minutes from the heart of Hobart. 🌿 Tucked away in the foothills of kunanyi / Mt Wellington, @breath.tasmania is one of those places that feels a world away from everything, without actually being far from anything. by @benjamin.little_
The snow gods finally smiled upon me and I got my Cradle Mountain winter wonderland! ❄️🥹 To be honest, snow at Cradle can be a bit of a roll of the dice. It snows every year, but exactly when is anyone’s guess. Sometimes you’ve just got to chase it! We spotted a big snowfall in the forecast earlier this season, packed our bags and headed up for the day to have some fun. And with more snow forecast for Cradle Mountain this week, it might be time to start watching the weather! 👀 If you’ve never experienced Cradle Mountain covered in snow, add it to your bucket list. It’s genuinely one of the most magical experiences you can have in Tasmania. 🤍 by @benjamin.little_
A seamless start makes all the difference. Hertz Australia made this Tasmanian escape easy from the moment we arrived. Great service, a premium SUV and everything ready to go for the journey ahead. And there’s another pretty great benefit. As a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, I can earn Velocity Points on eligible Hertz rentals and put them towards flights, hotels or even my next Hertz car hire. So while this trip took me up Tasmania’s east coast, it was also getting me a little closer to the next one. @velocityfrequentflyer @hertzaustralia Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions apply. #VelocityFrequentFlyer #HertzAU #Ad by @benjamin.little_

Comment RAPTOR and I’ll send you the details for this insanely unique Tassie Experience! 🦅 📢 Calling all bird and wildlife lovers! Did you know you can stay in a raptor-themed cabin in Tasmania? 😮 📍Just 30 minutes south of Hobart, hidden in the bushland of Kettering, @raptor_refuge offers one of the most unique wildlife stays I’ve come across. Their Two Night Studio Accommodation + Private Walk & Talk for Two combines a stay at their stunning accommodation Eagle Ridge Retreat, with a private behind-the-scenes tour of Raptor Refuge with @ziggy_raptorrefuge or Craig, the father and son duo rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing injured Tasmanian birds of prey back in to the wild! 🙌🏼 Choose between two beautiful hand-built studios inspired by Tasmania’s wedge-tailed eagle and white-bellied sea eagle, with views across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel towards Bruny Island. They’ve also just built a brand-new raptor aviary that sits right beside the accommodation 👏🏼. 🦅 Two nights studio accommodation 🦅 Behind-the-scenes Raptor Refuge tour 🦅 Private Walk & Talk for two Tasmania’s real-life Jurassic Park? I reckon it comes pretty close. 🔗 Book directly through the Raptor Refuge website. Comment RAPTOR and I’ll send you the details. by @benjamin.little_
Comment RAPTOR and I’ll send you all the details 🦅 This is @raptor_refuge and genuinely one of the most unique wildlife experiences I’ve had in Tasmania. Hidden away in Kettering, just 30 minutes south of Hobart, the Refuge is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and, wherever possible, releasing Tasmania’s injured birds of prey back into the wild. I joined Craig and @ziggy_raptorrefuge for their private Walk & Talk Tour, getting incredibly close to everything from falcons and owls to wedge-tailed eagles — all while hearing firsthand about the work that goes into caring for and rehabilitating these incredible birds. The scale of this place is pretty extraordinary. Raptor Refuge is home to the largest raptor flight aviary in the Southern Hemisphere and 11 of Tasmania’s 12 raptor species. But the moment I’ll remember most was getting to witness what all of that work can ultimately lead to: the release of a rehabilitated eagle back into the wild. And if you want to make a night of it, you can. There are two beautiful raptor-themed cabins hidden on the property, with a brand-new flight aviary built right between them making this a seriously unique place to stay in Tasmania. Every tour and stay helps support the rescue, rehabilitation and conservation work Craig and Ziggy are doing here. Please note: Raptor Refuge is a private sanctuary and all visits must be booked in advance, so please don’t arrive without a booking. 🦅 Private Walk & Talk experiences 🦅 Rescue to Release Workshops 🦅 Raptor Refuge accommodation 🦅 Kettering, Tasmania — around 30 minutes south of Hobart Comment RAPTOR and I’ll send you the link with all the experiences + accommodation. 🔗 raptorrefuge.com.au by @benjamin.little_
