Cocktail Hour in the garden, at an 18th century historic estate just outside Philadelphia. Sophie and Ben welcomed their guests with cocktail hour, choosing to greet their friends and family, share cocktails and wine, and start the fun prior to their evening ceremony. Their ceremony that followed was lively, emotional, and full of celebration. This may just be one of my favorite wedding day timeline choices to date 🥂

Our wedding was featured in Vogue today because Sophie is a superstar vintage dress connoisseur and knows how to throw a hell of a party ❤️

They were kind enough to cover how Sophie wore her grandmother’s 1940s wedding coat over her dress during our cocktail hour and then took it off and had the wedding dress she designed underneath. Also that I wore a vintage Italian tux with a bow tie made from the sleeves of Sophie’s grandmother’s wedding coat. The TLDR is we looked sharp. 🤵🏻👰🏻 Not mentioned in the article but certainly implied is how clutch it is to have cocktail hour before ceremony. by @benjamin.t.rubin

Saturday was the best day of my life. Sophie planned, organized, and executed the most amazing wedding I could have ever imagined. The world has really smiled on us in countless ways. Please enjoy these photos of us smiling back ❤️

Last weekend I turned 30 and celebrated my bachelor party with many of the same people I turned 5 with in kindergarten plus a few incredible gems that have been added after 1999. I feel like I’ve had a lifetime worth of luck in my first couple decades in this world. This group of guys is a really big part of that. Statute of limitations on posting from your summer Europe trip is seven days upon return. The Supreme Court is hearing a case to extend it to 10 days but as a staunch originalist I’m highly skeptical by @benjamin.t.rubin
