Greetings, all lifeforms!

It was around 1986, in a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, that I first began sketching the blueprints for the label Hybrid Productions Sound Architecture, after many years of exposure to early Electro, New Wave, and what later became known as Techno.

My childhood sonic influences include: Kraftwerk, Chris “The Glove” Taylor, James Brown, Afrika Bambaataa, Newcleus, Herbie Hancock, Hashim, The Boogie Boys, Cybotron, Knights of the Turntables, Arthur Baker, The Egyptian Lover, Whodini, Man Parrish, The Jonzun Crew, Mantronix, World Class Wreckin’ Cru, Grauzone, Joachim Witt, and Gary Numan.

Global recognition came between 1993 and 1995, when the first vinyl productions were created with the help of Glenn Wilson and Planet Rhythm Records. Over the years, H-Productions has often been credited with serving as an inspiration to several generations of producers and DJs.

Now co-managed by Benjamin Mull, the label proudly carries a reputation as a diverse and evolving force within electronic music. This is thanks to a steady stream of authentic productions that together form a back catalogue of over 200 releases, as the label approaches its 40th year at the end of 2026.

[STV] H2O SMOKE BOOTH w/ Benjamin Mull & Erik Veas

These two are no strangers to the scene here in Stockholm. Both active since about 10 years back and both rooted in the underground.

Benjamin Mull is a Stockholm-based DJ, producer and co-manager of H-Productions. His sound is rooted in hypnotic, stripped-back techno: driving grooves, raw machine funk and deep, spatial pressure built for the club.

Mull has developed a catalogue spanning H-Productions, Parabel and PRTL WRX, with collaborations and remix work alongside artists including Cari Lekebusch, The Advent, Joline Scheffler and Alex Frejenholm. Recent releases continue to sharpen his focus on functional, forward-moving techno with weight, restraint and a distinctly Scandinavian edge.

Erik moves through raw, driving techno, hypnotic grooves and rhythmic elements shaped by his background in electronic music, jungle and Latin rhythms. His sets are built around movement, tension and energy rather than staying locked to one formula.

His involvement has stretched far beyond the DJ booth. He has been part of building and organising underground parties including Momentum, M22 and Villa Ockult Invite, contributing to the community and culture that surrounds Stockholm’s darker side of club music.

This set is a little softer than what they both normally play, and we love the dynamics! Soulful darkness in the best way. Floating vocals and hard kicks to keep the blood pumping while u cry ur eyes out on the dancefloor.

A returning presence within the label’s inner framework, one of its resident architects re-emerges focused and uncompromising. The Miller operates with a percussive drive that resists dilution, avoiding excess, rejecting the unnecessary, and moves with intent.

His sonic imprint traces back to formative transmissions: the pulse of P3 Dans Radio, the 90s & 00s influence of Laurent Garnier, Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, the machinery of early Drumcode records, alongside Alexi Delano, Jesper Dahlbäck, Joel Mull, Bacto, and Thomas Krome. Filtered through a deep-rooted connection to classic Detroit recordings.
