When we were recording ‘Lost on You’, we shot out different guitars for each song to find what felt best. For the song Primary Colors, I needed something a little different for the quiet-loud-quiet-loud guitar approach. I used this incredible @powerselectricguitars A-type and it instantly felt correct. The perfect amount of bite and sustain in the chorus, really great textural clean tones for the verses, and explosive for the solo section.

It’s been super fun integrating this guitar into the live show as well for that song. It’s such a light and comfortable guitar to play, and it sounds as good as it plays. Truly a well crafted instrument.

Heading back out on tour soon! Check tigersjaw.com for dates and tickets links.

We said goodbye to our sweet Chloe today. 🐾❤️

I almost thought she would live forever. She had puppy energy for nearly 19 years, and while I consider myself incredibly lucky to have known her for 8 of those, no amount of time with Chloe would ever feel like enough time.

She had a profound calmness about her. She always looked as comfortable as could be when she was asleep. She loved tall grass, creeks, greenies, and throwing toys around. She was the best companion to @rachelmarieeeeee for many many years and for that I am forever grateful. I feel lucky that Rachel brought Chloe into my life, and that Chloe got to be around for the first 1.5 years of Stevie’s life. by @benjaminfwalsh

“My Gold Label 717 is the best acoustic guitar I’ve ever played. It felt comfortable and familiar the first time I picked it up. It’s balanced and full-bodied, but with plenty of warm trebles to shine through our live mix. It sounds awesome whether I’m digging in or fingerpicking lightly. This is the acoustic guitar I will grow old with.” - Ben Walsh of Tigers Jaw [swipe ➡️➡️➡️]

This is tough news to share. Hello Donuts will be closing up shop on Dec 1st.

I’ve loved coffee and donuts as long as I can remember. My first screen name was donut related, I can’t start a tour in NEPA without stopping at Curry, and first thing I do in a new place on tour is search for the good coffee and donut spot nearby. That was the whole idea behind Hello, and for the last 7 years, 5 in our shop, it was a pleasure to be that type of spot for people in philly. Huge thank you to our staff and my partners in this venture.

To my friends and acquaintances who are small business owners, I have endless respect for you. As fulfilling as it can be, it’s also incredibly difficult and at times, terrifying. I’m so proud of the hard work we put into our shop and I’m grateful for everyone who ever supported it in any way. Stop in Thurs-Sun for the next couple months and help us celebrate the ending of a great thing.

On to the next chapter. by @benjaminfwalsh
