Credence Pointe is finally here! Grab your copy today on Amazon. Linktree in my bio!

Book Blurb:
If your greatest fear has the power to kill, who will live to tell the tale?
Nathan Bishop is a single father of a seven-year-old daughter, and sheriff of Credence Pointe, WA. It’s a quiet little town tucked into a lush Pacific Northwest landscape. Nothing bad ever occurs in this small community. That is, until the body of a young woman is found in the lake. Things begin to spiral out of control as Sheriff Bishop is flung headfirst into the mess.
Recently moving into town, Ryder Hudson is thrown into the chaos before he’s settled in. As the new kid on the block, working under Sheriff Bishop, he had no idea his first day would entail coming face to face with a corpse.
In the process of working together to unravel the mystery shrouding this once quaint town, a connection sparks between them that neither can seem to ignore. But is there room for romance when lives are on the line?
As horror continues to unfold, they struggle to keep the community safe. The question is, what’s considered safe when danger seems to lurk around every corner?

As I’ve been slowly working on writing the sequel for my very first book baby, I’ve been reminiscing on the MM love story between Adam and Luke. I’ve been pondering over the things that worked well, and perhaps other things that didn’t. Was my debut novel a perfect literary masterpiece? Definitely not. But did it explore such a wide range of emotions, causing readers to laugh, cry, rage, and stress read through the pages? Most certainly yes. I recognized quite some time ago that this book is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. A big part of the story stems from my own experiences battling against religious homophobia. Obviously, I took that topic up several notches and explored a more intense, violent side of this experience. This book very much is a work of fiction at the end of the day.
The central concept of the story boils down to this: When life and death hang in the balance, who will risk it all for love?

Obligatory book selfie in honor of YWFAT being released this week! Please excuse my tired expression, as it’s been a long week between work and school. With that being said, I wanted to thank everyone who has engaged on posts, shared in the excitement of the book release, for the messages wanting to discuss the story and characters with me, and for those who have purchased a copy or read pages on KU. It means the world to me to see my little spooky season thriller getting some love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💙
