Quick FOH and monitor mix comparison!
At my 💅 day job 💅 we interact with so many first-time IEM clients and it’s easy to take what we already know for granted. So if you’re just getting started, this is what we hear and how that translates. Also, customs mean my IEMs don’t move when I do AND I don’t go deaf from cymbals 🤗

Benjamin Mah has never really believed in a one-size-fits-all life.

Different interests have taken him into different worlds, alongside people he might otherwise never have met. Along the way, he’s learnt to stay curious about the different ways we see, experience and find our place in the world.

Did a lotta growing up with Disco Hue and I can’t believe I get to play these songs again at @baybeats. If you’ve heard me play this hit, it’s actually a nod to @jyitung’s original fill.

It reminds me of the first time I sat in a Golden Mile rehearsal to study the bass parts. I don’t intend on changing it any time soon.

Disclaimer: I don’t set a high bar for patriotism so it’s not saying much, but I think I can speak for a few musos that it’s quite easy to feel disenchanted with the state of art / how the state treats art in Singapore.

And yet, you can still find pockets of joy if you meet the masses where they are. In Singapore, that’s more often than not going to be a sea of passionate people sing-yelling their favourite National Day songs back at you. So, Happy National Day 🇸🇬 Grateful to be able to play this TOP5BANGER live at the Gardens for a second time (2024 was better tho). taken in Garden By the Bay Singapore by @benjaminmah
