An Egyptian soul, a Swedish heart, and a little Mid Century Modernism walk into a room… ❤️

Welcome to our home, where ancient Egyptian sacred geometry meets Scandinavian cosiness, creating intimate family spaces designed for conversations, laughter and long evenings around the fire.

The sculptural 3D wall? My own sketches, lovingly brought to life by the extraordinary hands of Egyptian artisans. No 3D printing, just real craftsmanship and a little Egyptian magic!

The miniature stone pyramids I designed as book markers? We call them Giza, naturally! 🇪🇬

And the wonderful Ben Johnson @benjohnsonart artworks celebrate our shared fascination with modernist architecture, precision and geometry.

Of course, I couldn’t celebrate Egypt without wearing a little piece of its history. My Azza Fahmy necklace honours Nekhbet, the ancient Egyptian vulture goddess of protection, inspired by Queen Ahhotep’s magnificent jewellery from around 1540 BC. @azzafahmy

Because great design isn’t about choosing between cultures, centuries or styles. It’s about bringing them together and making them feel like home.

A little Egyptian drama, a little Swedish calm, and a whole lot of soul.

After all, I don’t collect objects, I collect character. ❤️

👏 Round of applause, please! Our Greenside Mural is officially open! 🎨

This wonderful mural has been created by all of our pupils throughout the Spring and Summer, in collaboration with Kite Studios - a true community masterpiece that we are incredibly proud of! 🌈

We were also delighted to welcome London-based British painter Ben Johnson and Andy Slaughter, Member of Parliament for Hammersmith and Chiswick, who both enjoyed tasting the fruits of our labour from the school bakery! 🥖🍞

A very special thank you to Kate and the wonderful Askew Road Art Festival community for helping to make this such a memorable celebration of creativity, collaboration and community. 💚

And a huge thank you to our @friends_of_greenside for providing the refreshments and helping everyone celebrate in style! 💚

It’s official! 🎨💚

Today we unveiled Greenside’s new playground mural — a true whole-school artwork created by our pupils over the spring and summer in collaboration with Kite Studios, and we were so lucky to have artist @benjohnsonart - famous for his large scale detailed cityscapes - to cut the ribbon and unveil the mural to the community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!

And this is only the beginning of Greenside’s Askew Road Arts Festival weekend…

On Sunday we throw open the doors from 12–5pm for Bouncing Off the Wall! + Open House.
