Over winter break I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to China. I went to multiple different cities including Leshan, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing. The food was quite possibly the best I’ve had in my life (alongside the beer as well). My great friend Clayton and his family were very welcoming to me and their hospitality was beyond belief. I am so glad that I went and I’m very happy to have Clayton as a friend. taken in Leshan Giant Buddha by @benluery

Third year at college has easily been the best. Overall, feeling much better compared to when I started and the friendships I have are only continuing to grow. I am very gracious for my time on this earth and I thank the people around me and the people who brought me here. The bands have been going steady and I’m happy to enter into this summer, and the next semester with a clear mind and a happy conscience. taken in University of Nevada, Reno by @benluery

VOLUME UP!!! Bass Cover of BARBARISM BEGINS AT HOME by THE SMITHS. Learned this song a while ago but it was easily one of the hardest to master and I thought this would make a good bass cover!#thesmiths #music #bass #cover #rock #newwave #morrissey #andyrourke #johnnymarr #mikejoyce #80s #meatismurder by @benluery

2023 started off kinda rough for me but it ended extremely well. Meat Blanket formed in March and took off pretty well, Benderworld released music this year and played tons of shows. I also went to therapy for multiple months and I think it really helped me calm down my anxiety and I finally feel like the person I used to be. I met a lot of new people this year, got closer with a lot of people and all together had an incredible time with all my friends and everyone close to me. I wouldn’t trade this life for the world. Thank you to everyone in my life, this is the happiest I’ve ever been. taken in Ridgefield, Washington by @benluery

It’s been a bit since my last bass cover but I recently got into this album and I wanted to post a bass cover to it. This is also the first cover in my new apartment. by @benluery

Today was my last day at UNR and I decided that I wanted to do one last bass cover in my dorm. I finally have a focusrite so now I can record in a lot better quality than I could previously and I will hopefully be uploading a lot more covers over the summer. Hope you guys enjoy it! P.S wear headphones to hear the bass better! by @benluery

Haven’t posted in quite a while but the band has really taken off since we started back in November. Really excited for the future and I’m super glad to play alongside the other super talented musicians (and friends) in Benderworld. Thank you guys so much for all the support! taken in Reno, Nevada by @benluery

Decided to pick one of my recent favorite songs to cover from Alkaline Trio. Back when I heard the album a few months back I wasn’t able to play it but now I think I kinda got it. It’s a bit sloppy but I wanted to post because it’s been a bit since I last posted a cover. by @benluery

I’ve been a big Pink Floyd fan for years and I was so grateful that I could attend this concert. Roger Waters is an incredible songwriter and musician and seeing all my favorite Pink songs live was a dream come true. We originally had tickets almost three years ago for this concert and I’m so glad we kept them because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you so much @rogerwaters taken in T-Mobile Arena by @benluery

Did a quick video for Four Horsemen! I was originally gonna do Invaders by Iron Maiden but it still needs some practice. I know this cover is a little sloppy but I really wanted to post it because this is just one of my favorite Metallica songs. taken in University of Nevada, Reno by @benluery
