October bits and bobs by @benmon3000
Seeing Sockeye and Chum Salmon making their run today was pretty magical. After a few years in the Pacific as adults they migrated up the Fraser river to a tributary of the Harrison river to spawn, in the exact location they themselves hatched years ago. During their journey they will stop eating and exhaust all of their energy, dying shortly after spawning only once, their bodies nutrient-enriching the surrounding ecosystem and perpetuating the cycle of life ♻️ by @benmon3000

Been looking to pull the trigger on a cheap dirt bike for ages. This 45 year old Yamaha MX 175 will be easy to get running right and have some fun on… and also teach @scayleyy how to ride. Let’s get it! by @benmon3000
August was dope by @benmon3000
And just like that, we were three again… Finn is a five(ish) year old German Short Haired Pointer who was found on the streets of Houston Texas and rescued by @threelittlepittiesrescue and their amazing fosters. He is a special, stinky, funny, cheeky, clever little lovely goblin man and we’re so happy he’s now part of our family! by @benmon3000

Managed to keep it out of the wall today as my catch can overspilled, splashing oil onto the tires on the right side of the car coming through T9. Safe to say me and the old man needed new pants after. Thank you to @garagefive and @velocityautosports for hosting a great day at @missionraceway by @benmon3000
July life by @benmon3000
Some June action by @benmon3000
The first event with the B20V went well. The only issue being crank case pressure pushing excessive oil into the catch can, which needed to be emptied every session - easily resolvable by adding a catch can with re-circulation lines to the back of the block. The car feels much quicker on corner exit now it has 213 horsepower to the wheels and 159 ftlbs of torque. As expected, between the extra power and the new track layout, I put down a new PB in the high 1:19s - but there is so much more on the table now. Especially because I can work on my (many) driving mistakes pointed out in the training sessions with @wcstorms Thanks to @garagefive and @velocityautosports for putting on a great event. 📷 @madelainesphotography & @ronald.type.r by @benmon3000
APPRECIATION POST They don’t make em like @wcstorms anymore. Thank you Curt for finding space in your shop for me to follow my passion and for always supporting me in any way you can. Thank you for handing down your vast engine building knowledge and for helping me to build an absolute ripper of a B series. Thank you for coaching me behind the wheel and sharing your endless stories of racecraft. You truly are a living legend! by @benmon3000
