Excerpts from “Risque & Échec” (in french) — Jennie Klein
L’Art Même, n°98 (January 2026)

Through Love Dynamics: Hold, Pushback and Out of Sync, these fragments trace an exploration of systems, desire, collective cognition, and the frictions between bodies and larger structures.

I ran — literally chained to a moving car — through the streets of Brussels, dragged by love.

LOVE DYNAMICS : HOLD

Love does not arrive quietly — it tests, bends, and sometimes pulls us apart.

A performance about surrendering and resisting in the same breath.
How far do we go when the beloved’s rhythm clashes with our own?
Where is the threshold between care and self-erasure?

Created in public space as part of the (Pas Si!) Fragile Festival, co-produced by @studiothor & @kanal.centrepompidou

A scenography for a contemporary Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
A space haunted by echoes — guilt glorified, suffering turned to virtue.

Traces of a moral architecture still shaping Western imaginaries —
not through doctrine, but through the seduction of sacrifice, the intimacy of remorse.

For D3 Drama Company.
Thanks to @anatole.edelsztein, @baltou_ for helping bring it all to life,
and @carolinelumia_ for this wild monastic courtyard.
