Today marks the day we said “I do!” Our time together has been the most amazing adventure of how to love and be loved with grace, acceptance, and passion.

I’m reminded frequently that our time together is temporary or as the song writer said “Time is a cup of sugar borrowed…” May we take every moment together, hand-in-hand and not look back!

I love you Jen Bennett. May we grow even closer this next year!

Today my favorite person has a birthday. These pictures illustrate this amazing woman.

She embraces life. No matter how big the mountain or how low the valley, she stays positive, grinds when it’s hard, works the puzzle, and believes anything can be fixed if you apply enough love.

She is also full of joy, fun, and child-like wonder.

I love her beyond words and can’t believe I get to be hers.

Happy Birthday Jen Bennett. I love you! by @benndav

Today was wide on the spectrum of emotions, time, and space. We moved Austin in to college in Nashville. Thank you @belmontu for the special giving of the blessings for the students and parents. I’ll never forget it! BTW, you’ll notice in the picture that Hudson decided to wear all of the labels from Austin’s things. He then decided to walk around campus like that. Let’s just say he got a lot of comments from the ladies! 😂😂😂 At the same time, our beautifully fun, joyful little miracle turned 3! I can’t tell you how blessed I am every time I hear him call me “Daddy”. God knew this day would come where we would celebrate both of them. What a wild ride. by @benndav

Since last September I have been spending time every week with Austin at Waffle House trying to pour some last remaining nuggets of wisdom into to him to get him ready to move to Nashville to go to Belmont University. We’ve gone through great books, had deep discussions, and enjoyed some good laughs. This morning was our last one.
Some of you have a jar of marbles that represent days or weeks until your babies either graduate from high school or move to college. Well, we are now out of marbles as we make the trip to Nashville TOMORROW.
I am beyond thankful for all the moments, the laughs, smiles and hugs. We are so proud of him and cannot wait to see what God has in store. #belmontparents #belmontuniversity #launchingstrong #gobruins by @benndav

One of the best saves of the weekend considering he can’t see the shot. Thank you @epicgoalkeepingllc ! He LOVES his glue gloves and gave up ZERO goals all weekend in ATL over 3 games. by @benndav
