happy dance day!

not my usual dance day post but dance this past year looked very different. countless hours at physical therapy, the gym, supporting my teammates from the sidelines and simply focusing on becoming the best version of myself. this journey has not been easy but it is truly an unexplainable feeling to be able to say i am back doing what i love. i am so thankful for everyone who has supported me through this- would not be possible without all of you! feeling so thankful to have dance in my life. i can’t wait for another year of learning, growing & DANCING!!!!

6 months post-op!

feels so good to slowly be making my way back to doing what i love!! milestone today of first big jumps back! definitely far from perfect but feeling so grateful. reminding myself everyday to celebrate the small victories!

a post i’ve been putting off simply because i can’t believe it’s over. i am so thankful to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. definitely not the senior year i had planned for but i am SO proud of this team and so so grateful for the all of the memories! the best 4 years. back to back to back!! i can not wait to see what the future of LDT holds!!! @lakedanceteam ❤️ by @bennettbeun

1 month post ACL surgery.
this is not quite how i had planned the start of this season to go. knowing i can’t dance and do what i love for awhile has been the most difficult thing to grasp, it still does not feel real sometimes. it’s been hard, humbling and honestly life changing. even though i might not understand now, i know that everything happens for a reason and i know God has a plan for my life and a path for my future that is greater than i can even imagine.

i want to thank everyone that has supported me through the beginning of this journey. thank you @primephysicaltherapyandsports and @erica.allen_atc for everything you have done already and for your love and support everyday. i could not imagine anybody better to help me through this than you. thank you to my @soulinspiredohio & @lakedanceteam families, it is so hard not to be dancing with all of you but i am so proud of you and am your biggest cheerleader!! thank you to all of my teachers, friends and family for all your love.

i’m ready to spend the next 6-9 months to get back to what i love and come back even stronger!! this is just a small part of my journey and it is only up from here!

coming back from an injury is never easy but i am so thankful to slowly be coming back!!

summer dance is so special. ready for soul szn 8! bittersweet knowing this is my last SOUL SUMMER but cherishing every moment and feeling extra thankful. 🦋

recital ‘25 🫧
not quite the recital i had planned this year but i still could not be more thankful and proud to be apart of this amazing family. it was hard not being onstage with my soul fam but i would not have missed it for the world!
thank you to all of my teachers for everything you do everyday and for being so supportive and loving no matter what.
thank you to all of my teammates- it was so amazing to watch all of you shine onstage. i am so proud of each and everyone one of you! i love you all more than you know 🦋
huge congrats to my kenna girl @kenna_ru_dances - DOTY ‘25 💗 i can not think of anyone more deserving and hard working. i am so proud of you and the dancer/person you are! i am so thankful to be apart of your journey!
