We’re officially in the home stretch! 💙💛

We had the sweetest visit to GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo, and it reminded us all over again why this place means so much to our family and so many others.

❌ Myth: Babies with Down syndrome are only born to older moms.

One of the most persistent myths is that only “older” mothers have babies with Down syndrome. While it’s true that the probability increases with maternal age, the reality is that the majority of babies with Down syndrome are born to women under the age of 35. This is simply because women in that age group are having the most babies!

Down syndrome isn’t a “consequence” of age—it’s a natural part of human diversity that can happen in any family, at any time. THERAPY THURSDAY

We’re working on crawling! 💪🏼

Right now, Bennett is practicing assisted crawling with his PT, working on coordinating those arms and legs and learning how to move his body forward with purpose.

It takes strength.
It takes coordination.
It takes motor planning.
And it takes A LOT of practice. ❤️

Sometimes progress looks like a big milestone.

And sometimes it looks like one tiny movement in the right direction.

We’ll take every single one. 💙💛
