ANIMAL CONTROL is back tomorrow night (now on SUNDAY)! This season, I worked with four baby pigs if you count the replica (pictured). I took a lot of “yearbook” photos of the writers (see screen grab). Eli sent one to his grandma and she liked it! Apparently, the only pics I got on set were of @thomaspatricklennon and this scary GIANT dog cage that was NOT set dressing. I checked and then it was dragged off the sidewalk. I haven’t slept soundly since. But I love these people and their trumpets and finger pointers and ADHD-themed t-shirts, even on the day we all said Koo Koo Roo one too many times. This show allowed the 3 Pennsylvanians to be their own room on multiple occasions and I think you’ll be able to tell Sunday by @bennettleigh

@amybethsol caught me on film in my natural element: finding a Lewisburg postcard at the L.A. County Vintage Postcard & Paper Show. The movie @kidblue wrote and directed — a movie that is his brain and heart and ingested NY hot dogs turned inside out — is going to @sundanceorg. Can’t wait for you to see this cast, especially John Turturro as Harry. Noah got to shoot on his childhood street, 26th, for this one, and it’s been a special project for the fam. We’re all very proud of our Native New Yorker! And that’s the last you’ll hear about this movie from me, I am sure hahahahaha by @bennettleigh

Huge morning for me. Asked the workers replacing the liquor store window if I could have this sign from a trash pile. Did an entire school drop-off carrying a three-foot michelada. My children even claimed they were not embarrassed. I could do anything right now by @bennettleigh

My Grandma Janet died yesterday. She was 95 and while some of my friends’ PARENTS can’t operate an iPhone, she was great at FaceTime and text. My sister @erinjanune sent her some funny videos Sunday! She was the only person in her entire nursing home who didn’t get covid in 2020. The two emerging theories were that 1) as a former nurse, she was amazing at disease prevention/hygiene and 2) even covid didn’t want to mess with Janet Bennett. She was tough and super smart (Bryn Mawr class of ‘50!) and had a great laugh. Listening to my dad make my grandma and aunt laugh and laugh at family parties is one of my earliest memories. My sister and I just laughed with her in September, after we surprised her with a visit and told her about driving around the off-season Knoebels parking lot until the wind scared us away. She loved a PA tour — pretzel factories, chocolate factories, we did a bunch with her as kids — so she got it. To be 95 and your death is genuinely shocking? Incredible. She was a real one! by @bennettleigh
