Days like today are never easy to put into words, 15 years feels like an eternity and missing you is almost all I’ve ever known.
When I was a kid I made a list in my head of all the big events in my life that I would accomplish without you, and today I realized that I’ve now completed the majority of this list. It’s such a strange feeling to look back and see how much life has happened while still wishing you were here for every bit of it. No matter how many years pass or how many milestones come and go, that feeling never really changes. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you. I wish you were here making us all laugh and I can’t wait until the day I see you again🤍 by @bennettpelissier

Almost a year ago, I was given the opportunity to be a weekend raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation, i knew with this came huge responsibility and it was my job to train a puppy to the best of my abilities.
I got Richlynn at just 10 weeks old for the first time and immediately drove down to St. Augustine for a wedding, the entire ride she slept in the floor board never making a peep, and i would actually have to wake her up for potty breaks, but right then and there i knew she would be great. She was and still is the most cuddly, loving, and hungry puppy ever!

Although I am sad i’m also so happy to say Richlynn will leave for New York, February 19th for the breeder program! Although she will not be an official guide dog anymore i am still so proud of her accomplishments and i am so sad to lose her all at the same time! I always knew this was a possibility and giving her up would be so hard but i will never change my opportunity to raise her for the world!

Richlynn, Richie, Richie Rich, Wiggle girl, Little bit - I am so proud of you! I can say you truly changed my life, Who knew a puppy could do that? I know you will be the best mama to all of your puppy’s and i know they will succeed at becoming Guide Dogs too! I can only hope and pray to get you back one day when you are finished! I am surely going to miss all of your wiggles around the house, our naps, your spastic moves, and most of all you 🤍
