🇫🇷 : Inspiré également par les halls d’entrée des années 70, ce projet joue sur le dialogue entre bois, métal et pierre. Un mélange de matières qui conjugue ambition formelle et chaleur, jusqu’aux tiroirs, clin d’œil aux boîtes aux lettres de l’époque.

🇬🇧 : Inspired by the entrance halls of the 1970s, this project explores the interplay between wood, metal and stone. A combination of materials that balances bold design with warmth, right down to the drawers, a nod to the era’s iconic mailboxes.

🇫🇷 : Tout est parti d’un flash, au détour d’une rue de Marseille, devant un hall d’entrée des années 50.

Une intuition nourrie par l’architecture de Fernand Pouillon, sa rigueur et son élégance intemporelle.

Le cercle, motif récurrent dans mon travail, s’est imposé naturellement, venant dialoguer avec les lignes droites de la porte et en bousculer subtilement la sobriété.

🇬🇧 : It all started with a flash of inspiration, on a street in Marseille, when I came across an entrance hall from the 1950s.

An intuition shaped by Fernand Pouillon’s architecture, its rigor and timeless elegance.

The circle, a recurring motif in my work, naturally found its place, creating a dialogue with the door’s straight lines and subtly disrupting its understated simplicity. taken in Vauban (Marseille) by @benoitpalas

🇬🇧 : « It was a natural progression to work together. We’re lucky to complement each other through a shared curatorial practice. »

The contemporary art gallery @apartamento.fr and the interior architecture and design studio @maisonpalas come together to present « I Found Help », an exhibition by the artist @charlie_warde, alongside a curated selection of distinctive furniture, during @artorama_marseille, from August 26–29, 2026.

🇫🇷 : « C’était une suite logique de travailler ensemble, nous avons la chance d’être complémentaires sur une pratique commune de curation. »

La galerie d’art contemporain @apartamento.fr et le studio d’architecture d’intérieur et de design @maisonpalas s’associent pour monter « I Found Help », une exposition de l’artiste @charlie_warde ainsi qu’une curation de mobiliers exigeants, pendant @artorama_marseille du 26 au 29 août 2026.

Inspired by the iconic Palacio da Alvorada in Brazilia, Oscar Niemeyer, 1958

The client and our studio were so delighted working with this kind of influences and incorporate them into this very personal and intimate project.
