This weekend I’m curating a stage at Voodoo Village together with @studio__calypso. It will be a sensory experience in a cosy cave with stunning designs by @marius_ritiu

I invited the DJ’s to envision their set as a script for an unknown movie. And turned that into posters.

Please find the first ones happening on Friday here.

A DAY AT THE POOL — by BENONUYT (16:15–18:15)
Introducing ‘A Day at the Pool’ - a slow dive opening where the water is warm, the love is hot and tip-toeing is only allowed with sunglasses.
Originated and blended by Kato Beckers & PJ Nuytten, together known as DJ couple Benonuyt.

A YOUR NUYT production & curation.

MARIGOLD — sonificated by Chris Ferreira (18:35–20:30)
Introducing ‘Marigold’ - a single flower turned into sound, unfolding petal by petal somewhere between golden hour and the first dark.
Blossomed by Chris Ferreira, stirred by Marigold, sipped by both.

A YOUR NUYT production & curation.

STUDIO STRANGER’S STRANGE PARADISE (20:45–22:45)
Introducing ‘Strange Paradise’ - a night swim under jellyfish skies where familiar records surface in unfamiliar waters.
Designed and executed by Yoeran Stranger, the main jellyfish at Studio Stranger.

A YOUR NUYT production & curation.

( birthday alert ! )

FROM DUSK TILL DAWN — by Rozevelt (23:00–01:00)
Introducing ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ - a foggy drive leading us through haze and the sun refusing to choose between setting and rising.
Originated and executed by Maarten Boodts, who’s receiving birthday gifts at his director’s seat.

Lets take you to the pool!

This one won’t be a usual Benonuyt set. We’ll take it more laid back on the new Calypso Stage at Voodoo Village.

Come and hang on Friday 🤍 by @benonuyt

We were over the moon when @traum.club asked us to come and play an all nighter. Even if the preparation for such a long trip is thorough, you never quite know where the audience, the evening or your partner is gonna steer you towards.

Excited that we’ve covered all our mutual music bases by bringing break, progressive, dub and some classics. As per usual we blend old with newer stuff and love to do so!

Let us know if you groove on this full mix. Now on SoundCloud (link in bio)

See you on a dancefloor near you!

For us, playing in @traum.club was an unforgettable experience for so many reasons 🫶🏼

1) first time together in a big legendary club
2) more than 30 friends showing up in front of the booth dancing their legs off
3) playing an all-nighter (even though we have been digging for our specific music style for not even 12 months)

We recorded our set, will soon be dropping online! taken in traum.club by @benonuyt
